Chapter Twenty Three

That last night Alex and I stayed up all night drinking wine and talking about Space while Peter Pan was playing in the background. Everyone was asleep and the only noise was us speaking quietly and Zack’s horrible snoring. “I don’t want you to go,” he said sadly twirling my hair between his fingers.

“I don’t either but I’m seriously worried about my grandma…what in case she doesn’t make it through Alex?” I asked and he stayed silent but how would he know?

“I just wish I could be with you,” he said.

“So do I, but your fans have paid to see you guys perform which must be a dream for them,” I smiled and he smiled.

“I do love the hustlers,” he giggled and I laughed sipping my red wine that I had a strange addiction too but I’m not an alcoholic but this type of wine is really good. “Anyway what time does your plane leave?” he asked.

“10am and its 3am now…I think we should get to sleep to play for your show,” I said smiling.

“You’re right but I don’t want to sleep because I will miss you,” he pouted.

“Alex I’m sleeping in the same bed as you,” I laughed and pulled him up finishing the last glass and walked to our bunk as I crawled in and he crawled in beside me putting the covers over ourselves in our PJ’s already. He pulled me as my head cradled on his chest as I played with his fingers closing my eyes. “Remember to think about me in your dreams when I’m gone.”

“Darling you’re in my dreams all the time.”

In the morning we all got up pretty early as I finished packing and ready to hit the airport. We drove to the airport and I said goodbye to everybody and Alex walked me into the airport. He waited as I put my suitcase away and we waited a little while until I was ready to get going since we were really early but I didn’t care because I wanted to spend as much time with Alex as possible. “I’m going to miss you,” I pouted sadly hugging him round the waist.

“I’m going to miss you too but call me once you get there even if my sleeping or performing, I will pick up!” he said and I giggled kissing his lips softly. It turned more intense as our tongues battled each other’s and we let go breathless. “I’m going to miss that!” he said astounded and I blushed. My flight was called out and people walked through the doors to go through security and I looked back at Alex to already have tears in his eyes. I giggled and punched his shoulder lightly.

 “Don’t cry, you’re going to make me cry!” I laughed wiping the tears.

“I’m sorry I can’t help it but anyway I will see you after we get back alright darling goodbye I will miss you and love you so much!” he said hugging each other tightly for dear life.

“I love and will miss you so much too Alex Gaskarth.” I said and I walked away from him looking back and he was already there and I waved smiling as he winked and I giggled walking away.

I waited for my flight to be called out and looked through twitter and saw a tweet Alex put: ‘I will miss her but she’s thousand miles away and I have no intention to meet her. Wish her all the best gorgeous.<3’
