Chapter Twenty Five

In the morning I woke up in a daze as I saw a figure in front of the mirror doing something. I squeezed my eyes and rubbed them to get my vision back to see Alex with a un-button shirt and he pouted. I giggled and looked at him weirdly. “What are you doing?” I asked moving my hair off my face.

“I’m trying to be sexy,” he winked and I rolled my eyes.

“Well you’re already sexy but that has really crossed the line,” I smirked and he walked closer to me as I laid down removing his shirt so he was topless.

“That’s good because I also wanted to be the sexy one in this relationship too,” he kissed me slowly and pulled back off me buttoning his shirt.

“That was great! I hope I get to wake up from that every day.” I said and he blew a kiss at me as I caught it and put it on my lips.

“For you, my princess.” He said and walked out closing the door behind him. He shouted something about breakfast and I walked into the shower and showered myself from last night. I couldn’t even explain how good Alex was in bed and it’s been a long time so I did…that. I lost it to a guy that I didn’t really know very well but he was my partner for this project we had to do and you can say we were like…friends with benefits. We lost it to each other and I really don’t regret it because he was a nice, cool guy.

I got out the shower and got dressed into something formal and comfy since I don’t think we were going to be doing anything today.

I walked downstairs to see Alex making breakfast and humming to a tune randomly. “Whatcha’ humming?” I asked sitting down at the small, wooden table. I said hello to the dogs and Sebastian sat on my lap as I also petted Peyton too.

“A song I wrote,” he said. I looked at the newspaper in front of me and saw all the pieces of paper he wrote while I was with him. I remember telling him off because he wasn’t listening to me or something.

“What’s this?” I asked picking up the pieces of paper. He swung round and snatched them out of my hands.

“Just something I’m doing no biggie,” he said nervously.

“But that was some of the writing you did when we were together before and during the tour,” I said and he nodded his head.

“You can’t look at it because…well you can’t,” he said nervously again.

“Why?” I said utterly confused.

“Because it’s not finished and I need to talk to the guys to make it a song. You can listen to it when it’s done okay?” he snapped and I looked away hating that tone in his voice. I heard him sigh and walked towards me lifting my chin up and looking into his dark, brown orbs. “I’m sorry I’ve snapped but this song is special and I don’t want you to see…can you forgive me?” he asked with his puppy dog eyes. I hesitated and then smiled nodding my head, planting a soft kiss on his lips.

After we had breakfast we sat in the living room watching Alex play his video game. “What are we going to do today?” I asked him as I looked at how concentrated he was to the game.

“We might meet the guys and you can finally meet Rian’s girlfriend Cassadee,” he said and I nodded my head.

“Cool is she nice?” I asked him and he nodded his head; his eyes still at the TV screen.

“You will like her for sure.”

“Can I bring Amelia too?” and he nodded his head.

Around late afternoon everyone came round and Alex was right, Cassadee was really nice and as I told her everything she was really caring and I thanked her for that. Amelia, Cassadee and I stood in the kitchen drinking our drinks as the guys were in the living room doing god knows. “I heard that Zack’s got a girlfriend,” Cassadee said sipping her drink.

“Really? Do you know who she is?” I asked but she shook her head.

“We will meet her soon…well that’s what Zack said anyway,” she said.

“Zack’s a nice guy and I can see him treating a girl right,” Amelia said and we all agreed. Zack’s really caring and such a nice guy and hopefully the girl’s is nice too but I bet she is.

“Have you spoke to Jack then?” I asked Amelia.

“Yeah a little bit but my feelings for him has come back and I don’t know what to do,” she sighed.

“Tell him but in private,” Cassadee said and she nodded her head.

“I’ll do that now thanks guys.” And she walked off.

“I wish I was like her, not giving a damn about anything and being really brave. If I was in her situation I would wait until the guy talks to me,” I said watching her speak to Jack quietly in the hallway away from everyone else.

“She is but you got to be yourself too because you can’t just ask like somebody else when you’re aren’t,” Cass said and I nodded my head.

“Thanks Cass you are super awesome.”

“That is my job.” She giggled and I laughed walking into the living room.

 Soon Amelia and Jack came and held their hands up in the air and we all cheered. I told her she can do it and she was over the moon.

The night went on and soon came midnight and everyone went home leaving Alex and I in a mess with empty beer cans and glasses everywhere. We tidied everything up and son crawled into bed. “Love you Katie.”

“Love you too Alex.” I said and he switched the light off, cuddling into me and soon we fell into a nice sleep.
