Chapter Twenty Seven (LAST CHAPTER)

 

A few days went past and I cried thinking about everything in the living room at Amelia’s house. I sat looking at the photos of everyone and how I missed them…even though I see them all the time except for…him. I couldn’t say his name because of it all. I looked at my bare ring finger and a tear dropped where it was placed.

I got up from my position and walked to see Amelia and Jack ready to go out. “Food’s in the fridge if you want anything. We’re going out for a date, have fun.” She said and I nodded my head.

“Remember to wrap up warm because it’s fucking freezing outside!” I chuckled as they closed the door but broke down again. I’m a complete mess and I hate it. I made myself some food and watched something crap on TV until I had a massive craving for chocolate and Amelia knows I need that. It’s a girls’ essential. I got dressed and wrapped up warm watching the snow fall from the sky and making a nice cold, white blanket on whatever sticks.

I walked out and walked along the path next to the park until I saw something hanging from the end of the bench. I wanted to investigate but I really needed the chocolate. I decided to get the chocolate later and walked over to the bench and when I looked over there was him. He was frozen but not enough that he turned blue and sleeping soundlessly. He was only wearing a thin jumper and shorts. I grabbed his cold arm and wrapped it round my shoulder and helped him up as he grunted but too cold to move properly.

We walked back to the flat and I struggled trying to get into the bathroom and when I did; I sat him on the toilet. I started running a bath making is warm for him to unfreeze him. I unzipped his thin jumper and took off his shoes and socks. I got him to stand up and he used his strength to hold him up. I removed his t-shirt leaving him shirtless and pulled his shorts down now face to face with his crotch. I awkwardly pulled them down revealing himself naked. I didn’t look down well tried too but it was just so big and that’s been inside me. Okay Katie shut up now please!

I moved him to the bath that was now waiting for Alex and he lied down scrunching his face by the warmth. Once he was settled; I got him a towel and fresh clothes that Jack’s left behind when he stays over. I left him to it and made ourselves some hot tea.

After a while Alex walked out and I awkwardly smiled as he made himself to the table and sat opposite me. “Is that for me?” he asked nervously. He has colour on his cheeks and healthier skin that I was happy about that he’s finally up to the same temperature.

“Of course, I’m not expecting anyone else,” I said with a hint of laughter in my voice. He genuinely smiled and took a long sip. It was silent after that, just making noises with our cups until mine was finished. “How are you with Lisa?” I asked and he groaned.

“Look what you saw-“

“Wait, how do you know?” I asked shocked.

“Rebel and Amelia told me and maybe if you stayed longer I didn’t kiss her back. In fact I pushed her away and shouted at her for being stupid and that I had a girlfriend that I love very much,” he said.

“But on the phone she said that I was annoying you?” I asked him.
