Shania's POV.

I was trying to get through the sea of students lingering in the lobby and trying to get to the cafeteria, fifth period had just ended and it's now lunch time. Reaching to my locker in a record time of 5 minutes, note the sarcasm; I met up with my friend Em, Jammie and Chad, yes I said Chad. My physics partner and the guys I disrespected at the beginning of the term. It's been a month since all that happened, and suprisely we became great friends, he even continue to hang out with us even after the project was finished which me got An A+ on, to say my friends have taken a liking on Chad was an understatement, they literally worship him, well maybe I'm exaggerating a little, I chuckled to myself. That's when I felt someone shaking my shoulder with worried eyes
"Are you okay sweetface?" Chad ask as I glared at him, him and that stupid nickname
"For the hundredth time, no millionth stop calling me that and yeah I'm fine was just remembering something" I shrugged
"You remembered my handsome face didn't you? That why you were smiling so wide" he asked with a smirk. I was about to answer when Jammie spoke.
"I don't think so buddy, don't push your own horn, the look on her face just now clearly meant she was remembering a memory with me" he smirked. Without even bothering to answer I dragged Em to the cafeteria before she had a chance to have and input in the conversation. You might be wondering why I didn't defend myself against Jammie's claim, well its because I'm used to him and Chad going on and on and on about me always dreaming or thinking about either of them, and honestly it made no sense in trying to defend myself for they'd always team up against me and blackmail Emma to do the same and I'm starting to realize that she enjoys going against me and the blackmails were all fake. I padded to the lunch line with my tray in hand; I got fires,cheese cake, apple juice and I chocolate pudding I was about to take a piece of casserole when someone voice broke in
"Someone is hungry and eager" I turn to see Chad smiling at me, not his general smirk or cocky grin but a genuine smile.
"When am I not hungry dumbass"
"Point taken you've been up my ass since third period talking about how you were going to die if you didn't get food soon, you're such a fatass" he said with a glint of amusement when he noticed the horrored look on my face.
"I'm getting fat?" I asked in a hushed tone
"Hell yeah!" The three of them said in union before looking and each other and bursting out in laughter, that's when I realise he was joking and saw his smirk
" you should have seen your reaction sweetface, it was freaking priceless and don't worry baby you're as sexy as ever fatass", my eyes widened in realization that he just said I was sexy then I felt my cheeks staring to heat up, so I walk ran to our regular table to the back right corner of the cafeteria and started stuffing my face with the one thing that made me forget Chad all the time, Food.
"So as you guys know, tomarrow is the opening match against West Grave High, you guys coming right?" Chad asked
" I'll be there and so will they, even if I have to dragged them there" Jammie said pointing at Em '& I "Then so be it, I wouldn't left my boy hanging, I swear" Jammie finished. I just looked at them and shrugged "Ofcourse we will be there, hot sexy boys in shorts and sweat soaking there shirts? Wouldn't miss it for the world baby" I said and Em bursted out in laughter clutching her stomach while Chad glared and clutched his fist and Jammie just chuckled.
"What's so funny?" Chad said through gritted teeth, I finally look up and saw how tense he was, what the actually fuck? What's crawl up his bum and died, but I struggled it off and Emma beat me to a response
"Well it just that.... Well Nia hates, no despise footballers so hearing her say that.. Well you know? It's suprising, yet hilarious" she said trying to catch a breathe, because she kept laughing while explaining
"Ye what she said" Jammie said pointed to Em.
" Oh" was all he responded and for the first time since we've met he fell silent and seem distant. I was debating in my head whether to ask him what's up or just let it slide, but I couldn't. With all the messed up shit that I've being going through lately with my family etc, event though he didn't know why I was distant most times, he never let's me wonder in my own thoughts for long, its like he knew my limit and knows when to pull me out from myself. So I did the unthinkable and turned his face to me, trying my best to avoid my best friends stare.
"Hey" I said smiling, "what's up Chad? You seem distant, you haven't touch your food and you haven't even try annoying me since the line" I said as I inhaled his scent, he tried to look away but I held his face in place, I don't know why I cared but I did. Maybe it's because it's the fact that a month ago I had hurt this same boy feeling and after we became friends and now he's just as constant in my life as Em and Jammie. I don't Know where all the bravery came from but I found myself resting my forehead against his and stared in his eyes, "don't do that" I said with a sigh
"Do what?" He asked confused
"That, don't block me out Chad, not after how far we've came, you're my friend and I care about you" I said with all emotions in my voice so he knew I cared.
"It's nothing", he said, "I was just thinking, that's All"
"You're lying to me Seymour"
"Just kill it Shania" he said with a growl, and that's when I pulled away, I heard the annoyance in his voice, and the emotion less mask he wore so well appeared once more on his face, but that wasn't what hurt, he called me Shania which he never ever did; even when we just met, he never did and I swear I felt a tear escaped my lids
"Oh no you won't, not here baby girl" Emma spoked, and that's when I realise my body was shaking violently and I felt the hot tears streaming down my cheeks, I was crying and I didn't, know why or maybe I did I just didn't want to accept it. Emma picked me up and escorted me to the bathroom.
Chad was mad at me and I don't know why

Hey Lovies, this was an extremely long chapter *screams* 1200+ words to be exact.

Well I told you guys to read the authors note at the end because I've decided to continue Writing "TWTBB" but I guess you guys have already came to that verdict. This chapter was writen from last year it was suppose to be updated the date after chapter 5, but it never went up. I've decided that I'm going to continue this book, because I love writing and "TWTBB" have became a part of me and I couldn't leave without giving it an ending, so I'm going to start my regular updates on Monday, Thursday '& Sundays💜
