The sun shone in Melodys eyes as she woke up from her deep slumber. Blinking, she stared down at the scabbard at her side. She reached to pull it out, but her stomach growled in protest. She needed food. So with a grunt, she stood and stretched her les, waking back it to the water. Standing right at the shore, she waited for a fish to swim by. This time, her dagger did not miss. However she did not have the means to start a fire, and no way to cook the fish. The slimy fish in her hand, bleeding out the gash in its side did not look appetizing in the slightest. But her stomach growled again and she groaned.
"Why me?"
Bracing herself, Melody closed her eyes and took a bite out of the fish, chewing it slowly, then swallowing. It didn't taste super bad, just, slimy. And raw. But she needed energy, so the ex-princess choked it down, gagging. However when she was done, she realized she made a mistake. Now she was thirsty, and there wasn't any clean water for miles probably.
"Uugh, it's always me."
So she headed out, walking along the beach, humming a tune to distract her from her dry throat. She found herself thinking that if she was back in O'khasis, she would never go thirsty. But she caught herself, because of she was back in O'khasis, she would be married to Caleb, and being tired and sore and thirsty was better than that any day of the year. But she continued on, humming her little tune as she went. It kinda reminded her of when she was back on O'khasis, actually. Smiling at this, her humming turned into singing,

"Alright recruits! You have completed your training, and it's time you were assigned to your new posts! First up, Garroth Ro'meave!"
"Yes sir!"
"You will be assigned to the village of Pheonix Drop!"
"Yes sir! Thank you sir!"
