IV

Meckham took advantage of all the distractions while the soldier were getting organized. He waited for the night to arrive on Earth at the village where Tusuer was. At the Celestial's gate there were guards watching everything. As any Angel he could disguise himself and camouflage his whole body to almost look invisible in the night. He went as dark as the night sky. Almost a mirror to the night sky. He just let himself fall into the air, straight down, not moving his wings at all, like a falling arrow. Any noise could get the guards attention. They could go after him if they'd heard him.

He went darker still, closed his eyes so his blue eyes did not reflect anything in the darkness. He put his mind in blank and the shine that usually covered his body disappeared. He was just a dark stone falling down. When he thought he was far away from being seen or heard he opened up his wings to slow down the fall. His wings as independent beings curved looking for air to hold the fall. Even though the fall wouldn't kill him his body would be pretty badly hurt for a long time if he didn't do that. He couldn't afford being hurt right now and no way to explain it.

As he approached the ground he had to do it as a bird landing, running as he touched the earth.

"Great! Excellent maneuver!" said a shadow in the darkness

"you learned well"

"You can only learn from what you can be taught" he responded as any other Angel would respond to a compliment.

"Well said" said Tusuer.

He was glad Tusuer looked in a better mood. Of course he felt more confident now that he had more troops at his disposal sent by him. He might changed his mood after he told him what he came to tell him.

"When do they start?" Tusuer asked and his thoughts were shut down unexpectedly "you think I am going to trust only you Meckham? I have to have a lot like you to be always ready and the only question that has not been answered is

that one, when will they start the attack?"

"Master, they will be here in a year, there are a thousand of them. As you probably know, Dregnar and Lacjner are getting them ready and training them in all of the arts of war"

"THAT I KNOW!" he yelled, then after a heavy paused added "I know" he said with the easiness desperation gives "we are waiting for them. They can't win. We have the surprise factor, we are strategically positioned all over the place. Ten of mine will easily eliminate one hundred of them"

"But Master, please remember, Dregnar's motivation drives them. You've killed his woman, his best friend who was a soldier respected by them, and you did this in front of him, he wants your head at whatever the cost and consequences.

And he is coming for that" he warned him.

"Even better, he is blinded by hate. He's coming for me and only for me, he's not ready to command an army. I am. I have no attachment to anything but our cause and our common benefit. He is not. He has only one motivation and for that he will perish. Even more, it would not be me who gets rid of him. One hundred arrows will welcome him before he touches the ground" he smiled imagining it all "Go back. You've done well. This will end soon. Wait for us. Soon we will take over the Celestial and punish those who have judged us and condemn us. Our army will not only be formed by Angels, we have found the way of making the offspring grow faster. They are not like Aekhem, but they are bigger than us, taller, strong and solid bodies, not too much brain in them but obedient to our commands. They will be the first wave of attack to those unfortunate enough to touch the ground" he was confident in his plan.

Meckham made a reverence and knelt before him:

"Master, I only want to worth of your trust. We will be

anxiously expecting your arrival"

Tusuer turned his back to him, he despised flattery. He made a gesture with his right hand ordering for him to leave now.

Meckham smiled to himself and flew away into the darkness.

Tusuer felt a presence, like someone watching him, he aspired to see if he could smell the presence of another Angel. He looked around him searching, but nothing. At the bottom of the hill where he was he saw Angels gathering around a fire. He flew there.

A man with blond hair, hidden behind a pile of rocks stood up, he shook the dust from his body. A dark light surrounded him. Spread his wings and flew in an opposite direction from Tusuer's.
