EAST COAST, KINKASAN ISLAND
Abigael's Camaro was parked two thousand feet from the beach. They got out of the car and looked all over the place. The monkeys in the area stopped making their usual noise. They walked towards the beach, between the trees. Abigael followed Aekhem who seem to know where he was going. She didn't ask anything. She looked to the ocean and she could see how ten or fifteen little yellow boats were heading back to the beach. All of them just carrying their pilot. They all seem to come from the same spot but there was nothing behind them.
A familiar smell started filling up her nose. She could not place it but it was a nice smell, an odor from her past, something she knew, but could not place it in her memory. She saw Aekhem following and heading to the same direction the smell was coming from.
The giant winged being was standing there, just behind a small sand hill. He was watching the ocean. Aekhem walked to him and stood by his side. Lacjner said without looking at him:
"I will assume it was unavoidable and you!. I don't know if I should call you Abigael or Bechner. I really don't know what to think of you two. This is the first time in actual times after the great flood we have been exposed in such way" he sounded disappointed.
Aekhem didn't pay attention to his remarks:
"What are you doing here?. I've seen the Yorkars heading to the prison, how do they know the location?" he questioned Lacjner.
"Aekhem, son of Dregnar, son of Senra, did you really think Tusuer would never try to escape? How many seals before the main entrance?. I guarantee you they have broken three or four already. Not only do the Yorkars know their location, but the whole world knows the location. Sooner or later Tusuer would get out, without anybody's help, but it seems there are some that cannot wait by his own" he kept watching the ocean.
Aekhem turned to where Lacjner was looking and he could see on top of the ocean a straight line of water moving about two miles in.
"Descendants" said Aekhem.
"Not just Descendants, but the Descendant herself. Liknal's worldwide representative and Tusuer genetic heir" Lacjner warned.
"Isabella" Aekhem said as he sighed.
He had arrived, everybody had arrived. One place. He added:
"I understand Garktold is heading in that direction, but we must have a plan of attack. We must prepare in case he gets out and find a way to put him back in right away. But Garktold being away and us by ourselves here is not the way
to do it. This is why I asked you to go to Yorkar"
"You and Abigael can participate on what's next" Lacjner said "Tusuer will get out, that is a fact and you know it. The Descendants are superior in strength and number right now. They have been planning today for hundreds of years. You thought this day would never come and we started getting ready only a few days ago. What did you think it was going to happen here in only a few minutes. That we were going to move all the troops, humans and Angels at your disposal? It is important that we have a plan but most important yet for you to agree to what I'm about to say" he paused Aekhem was looking at him, listening "You and Abigael must leave this place immediately. You have to go somewhere and hide for years. The two of you are the only hope there is to fight the evil that's coming" Aekhem listened to everything he said and he suddenly started laughing out loud.
"Lacjner, we are not only losing precious minutes, I cannot believe you are talking about the human's prophecies ..."
"BE QUIET! It is your pride and arrogance that have brought us to this point. You were supposed to trust us, in Garktold, in the Yorkars. You were supposed to support the Messengers and you didn't. Now I ask you to listen to me and admit your mistakes. You should have told us the location that everybody now knows and have been preparing to learn. Who gave you the right to put us all at risk? To all humans? You are the one bringing the end to all" Lacjner said, very upset, looking at Aekhem in rage. Garktold had obviously reached him and filled him up with all kinds of stories.
"Which prophecies?" Abigael asked.
Aekhem just rolled up his eyes.
"You haven't told her anything? Knowing it, and you haven't told her anything?" Lacjner laughed ironically.
"How can I tell her about something I don't believe in? You know me, I only speak of my truth, not the rest!"
"From an Angel who is not one, and the female who became one a king will come and this king will be of peace, wisdom, and unity among men. His kingdom will last six thousand years and he will take humanity to their might" and added " that is the short version but there's more 'The slaver and their breed will procreate. From them darkness will come to cover the world all the way to the sky. No one will be free from their cruelty, evilness and hate to all and all"
Aekhem looked Abigael's reaction. Silence was her response.
The three of them looked up the sky, a white light was descending on top of them coming fast.
"Why did you let them come all the way here? They should not be here, they must leave now. The submarine has enough missiles and explosives to blow Japan to kingdom come. Hiroshima will look like a cloud of dust compared to size of the damage they can cause" said Garktold without looking at Aekhem.
"How long before they shoot their missiles to the entrance?" asked Lacjner.
"A couple of hours, long enough for these two to get far away from here" he turned to Aekhem and said "Aekhem, the Guards at the Celestial Gate facing Japan are only a few and easily distracted, use the portals, go far away, find refugee, take her with you"
"If Lacjner is right, and this is all my fault, I cannot leave, I must go there, take her away, this is my duty, I will not leave" a light surrounded him and Aekhem the Angel was there. He looked at both Garktold and Lacjner. Garktold was going to say something but Aekhem told Abigael:
"Go with them, they will take you to a safe place, I will see you there"
He took off into the ocean as fast as he could fly.
"Aekhem wait!" Garktold yelled. He turned to Lacjner. In Garktold's eyes desperation in Lacjner's resignation.
Angels were uncontrollable, what could he do?. He turned to Abigael. He sighed, there was nothing he could do for Aekhem, that was the way he was.
"Abigael" Garktold directed to her "Listen to me now, Lacjner will take you to Yorkar, you will be protected, stay there, I will make sure Aekhem comes back. The prophecy must be fulfilled. Humans are not the only ones that depend upon this, our own existence is at ..."
Abigael step back when Lacjner extended his hand to her. She knew her duty was different from what she was being told. She was not going to fulfill anybody's prophecy. Humans or Angels. Her duty was to be next to Aekhem, she had to protect him and take care of him and she knew she could do it even better than he could. They would never understand, they are not humans, they are just Angels.
Lacjner's eyes saddened when her body started shining. She took off in the same direction as Aekhem and before Lacjner extended his wings Garktold told him:
"Go to Yorkar, get them ready to leave, something tells me after this, they will come after us, our location has been compromised. We have prepared a new one knowing this might happen one day. Take all the humans there, they will tell you where it is and if we don't come back they have to be ready for what's next"
Lacjner just nodded, he could not contradict him. Aekhem and Abigael were his major concern but if one prophecy did not come to pass, then the other one would, no matter what, they had to be ready. The world was not going to be handed to Tusuer just like that and Liknal would not take over and create his reign off humans, he would make sure of that, it did not matter if he die trying.
They embraced each other and said goodbye, one of them would no longer see the other and they knew it.
One hundred Angels landed on the beach, waiting for Garktold's orders. Garktold flew to them and from the sky he ordered them to follow Lacjner.
Lacjner flew towards Yorkar and one hundred whitelights crossed the sky following him. z%G
