I wake up on the floor, most importantly not my fucking floor. I try to quickly get up, but I instantly get hit upside the head with whiplash. I groan, a hangover tapping at my shoulder like a terrible ex, you can't get rid of no matter how hard you try.

"Morning, Nate." I look up to see a guy with blonde hair and blue eyes.

"I'm sorry, but who the hell are you?" I question. "And where am I?"

"Oh man, you don't remember anything, do you?" The guy chuckles. "You're at Sammy's place. And I'm Jack Johnson, Sammy's friend."

I nod, slowly getting up so I don't become lightheaded again.

"Um, I gotta go. Tell Sammy I had a good time." I mumble, making my way out of the house.

I walk into my house next door, closing and locking the door behind me. I plop down on to the couch, my mind wandering off to Ayana.

Where the hell could she be?

Out of the blue my phone vibrates in my pocket, my hand fishing into my pocket for it. Once I've got it in my hand, I pull it out of my pocket.

The words I thought I'd never think I'd see in the same order, flashes across my screen. A smile effortlessly brings a smile to my face, my whole body warming up.

Nate, I found her.
