Sam's P.O.V
I couldn't help but feel extremely excited as I zipped my suitcase closed for hopefully the last time this morning. Today was the day of the school trip. My grade and the grade above would be going on a 5 day trip to some adventure centre that was about a 6 hour drive away. I'd been looking forward to this trip for the past two weeks and it was finally here. I eased my way down the stairs, pushing my suitcase down infront of me. Eventually the weight became to much and I let go, fliching as the blue case slid down the stairs and landed with a loud thud at the end. Jumping over the large suitcase, I skipped into the kitchen where my Mum was just placing a bowl of cereal on the table for me.
''You're looking rather happy'' She raises an eyebrow at me, sliding a spoon across the table towards me. I shrug and swallow a spoon of cornflakes. ''You excited?''
I grin, nodding my head up and down. I'm beyond excited. Spending a week with my closest friends. It's going to be amazing.
''Well you better hurry. Luke's going to be here any minute'' She warns me, wiping her hands on a dishcloth.
Luke just recently got his drivers license and so he could drive us pretty much anywhere. I loved the thought of being able to go places without having to be dropped by my Mum. I sighed as my Mum began going over things to do and not to do while I was away. I rolled my eyes, taking the bowl and tipping it back into my mouth. As I place the bowl back on the island, I notice my mum giving me a look, her hand on her hip. She hates when I do that with my cereal. I shrug, giving her a weak smile. As if on cue, I hear a car horn sound outside. I lean forward, glancing out the window to see Luke and Calum in the front of Luke's brand new, black Lexus IS 250.
Excitement taking over my body, I jump off my seat and quickly dump my bowl and spoon into the sink, hugging my Mum and giving her a kiss on the cheek. I run out into the hall and grab my suitcase while my Mum opens the front door for me. Once I step outside the door I give her another Kiss and she rests her hand on my shoulder. ''You be good'' She smiles, her voice soft.
''I will'' I grin, wanting to get going. She senses my urgency and sighs, laughing a little.
''Alright, have fun sweetie''
''Love you''
And with that, the front door was closed and I began running towards the car, spotting Molly in the backseat. She waves at me, obviously just as ecited as I am. I scream and so does she as I nearly trip over my own feet. I catch the boys shaking their heads with laughter. Luke gestures to the back of the car and I lug my suitcase towards the boot of the car as the boot opens by itself. Fancy.
I sigh, realising that there is no way I'm getting this case into the boot by myself.
''Need a hand?'' Calum smirks as he grabs hold of the bottom of my case. I pull the top of it up and laugh as his eyes widen and he puffs out his cheeks. ''Jesus, Sam what did you put in here, a dead body?'' We both pull the boot closed and I give him a sly look.
''Bodies'' He looks confused. ''Plural'' I finish, a smile appearing on his lips.

Taking my seat on the train, I place my backpack on the seat next to me so people know that someone's sitting there already. I looked around for Molly so she would know where we were sitting. This didn't exactly go as planned though. I felt my bag being thrown on my lap and looked up to be met with Calum's dark brown eyes. Without hesitating, he takes a seat next to me where my bag was a second ago.
''Um-'' I tried to tell him how Molly was going to be sitting there and how she would probably bring his life to a bloody, slow death but I was interrupted.
''Hood!'' Calum and I both flinch at the sound of Molly's voice, louder than everyone elses. Calum puts on a huge grin and looks up at the very angry Molly.
''Molly, Darling'' Calum responds as if he can't see the look on her face. ''To what do I owe this pleasure'' Molly just rolls her eyes and crosses her arms over her chest.
''I'm sitting there'' She speaks, pursing her lips. Calum looks down at the seat and then back up and her and I can tell he's playing around again.
''Wait but... I think I'm actually sitting here at the moment. You're standing.'' I bite down on my lip to stop myself from laughing. Molly looks like she's going to hit him and andy moment but Calum seems really calm about it. Instead of blowing up with anger, she unfolds her arms and lets out a huff of breath, making her side fringe fly up a bit. If looks could kill, I would be sitting next to a dead body.
Once Molly walks away, Calum pulls out his phone and headphones like nothing just happened.
''You're gunna regret that'' I say, looking out the window at the sun shining down on the feilds. We were entering the countryside now and I don't get to see it that often so I guess you could say I was kind of fascinated.
''I know'' Calum says. I can hear the smile in his voice as I turn to face him. I mirrored his smile before pulling out my own headphones and pretty much staring out the window at the vast amount of empty land. Calum, of course, is fast asleep after about ten minutes. I can't help but laugh a little as I feel his head fall onto my shoulder, the music blasting in his ears. I gently slip off his headphones and he shifts around for a couple of seconds, keeping his head on my shoulder. He's always looked like a small child when he slept.
