It's been 3 days since we got back from the trip, not that I've been counting.
Things between me and Calum have been... weird. We didn't really get a chance to be alone together for the rest of the trip but I don't think it would have mattered really if we did. He doesn't seem to want to talk me. We haven't spoken once since we got back.

I'd pretty much been wasting the day away, watching TV and eating cereal. My parents were at work since it was the middle of the week. We got back on Monday and the school gave us the rest of the week off, thank fuck.
I'm lying on the lounge staring at the blinking cursor thing, contemplating texting Cal for probably the hundredth time today.
My fingers are shaking slightly as I type in the word
Hey
So simple yet I'm shitting myself. When did things become like this.
After retyping that same word 11 times, a finally decide to send it, shutting of my phone and throwing it to the other side of the lounge. I sit there biting my nails for a couple seconds when the doorbell rings, making me jump.
I fix my jeans as I walk quickly to the front door not expecting to find Calum standing there, phone in hand.
My mouth opens slightly as he looks up from the screen giving me a sideways smile and sliding his phone back into his pocket.
"I figured I wouldn't text back seeing as I'm here" Calum breaks the silence, walking past me and into the kitchen.
I stand there for a couple of seconds staring out at the road before turning around and closing the door.
When I walk into the kitchen, Calum is sat on the counter eating a bowl of Weetabix.
"They were on the counter" He gestures towards the counter behind him where I'd left the bowl of cereal earlier on.
"Oh" Is the only thing I manage to say.
"You make these kinda gross. So dry." He winces, taking another spoon despite what he just said.
"Well, sorry my Weetabix aren't to your liking Mr. Hood" I retort, leaning against the counter beside where he's sitting.
"Oh, well guess whos sense of humour matches there breakfast" Calum raises his eyebrows. "Dry"
I roll my eyes, walking over to one of the cupboards and taking out a packet of crisps.
"Why are you here?" I ask, bluntly.
"Am I not usually here?" Calum shrugs, putting down the now empty bowl.
"I suppose" I shrug, throwing a few crisps into my mouth. "We just haven't really talked a lot over the past few days" I try my hardest not to sound extremely desperate.
"We don't have to talk every second of every day, Sam" Calum rolls his eyes, rubbing his hands up and down his thighs before jumping down from the kitchen surface.
"I know that I was just saying..." I look down, letting my hair fall over my face.
"Let's go watch something, cmon." Calum walks out of the kitchen but then sticks his head back in.
"Grab me a pack, salt and vinegar" And then he's gone and I can here him jumping onto the lounge.

I don't know why I thought we'd be talking things over but I did. It's definitely not what happened though. And no we didn't end up making out or anything.
