-Jake-

We've been sitting on this bus for hours, watching this sick fucking women either tear the bus driver apart or stare at us hungrily.

The others on the bus were laying down in the seats or sitting on the floor, trying not to be seen. Or trying not to look.

"She isn't going to leave" I said

"What is wrong with her?" Nate asked. The only person within a five foot radius of me.

"I don't know, never seen this before"

She took a solid bite out of his leg.

"God that's sick" Nate said looking away.

Why are you still looking

"It's getting dark, think she will leave?"

"No, she knows we're in here"

She knows she has food right now, she won't let it leave.

"Could we out run her?"

I turned around "see those guys, younger and slower, and them, heavy set, can't keep up"

"You don't know that"

"I've seen them run.."

"We can make it to my house"

"This is..."

lights cut through the dim darkness, like a flashlight through a small blanket, catching my attention.

"Someone is comin" Someone yelled. It was Alyssa. She was a preppy girl, who that that sausage party meant a cookout. She is innocent and sweet.

The car came closer to us, and the sick woman, which they swerved to miss hitting her. They came to a stop and the women went after the car. They pulled off and she kept running after them.

"We can do it now"

"I.. Fine"

"Everyone" I spoke up "we're making a run for it, just keep up"

"Where are we going?"

"Nate's house, it's the closest"

"We're going out their?" A young boy asked. Looked like he was in sixth grade, maybe fifth.

"She is gone, but only for now"

"It's our chance" Nate said assuringly

"Slowest in the front and faster ones help them keep up"

I grabbed the door handle and got ready.

I pulled the handle and ran down the steps, my blood started rushing instantly and my heart beat increased.

My eyes fell to the bus driver. Most of the blood on his body had become dry but their was still some streams going down.

"Don't look at him" Nate said, probably to the younger ones and the girls.
