-Nate-

I sat up from my bed. I moved in here in the middle of the night, since the couch wasn't that comfortable.

I leaned to the side and flipped the small black switch for my lamp. It didn't turn on, it only make the click but no light.

Guess the powers out, it is a crisis after all

I got out of my bed slowly, stretching out my arms and twisting a little, making my back pop.

I looked out my window, the only one in my room.

The dirt was still dry looking. Guess my tears didn't wet the graves dirt at all. And new tears were threatening to form

Don't

The sun was barely up, letting a few shadows be casted.

How early is it?

I walk out the room. I didn't have to put anything on since I fell asleep in what I wore yesterday.

I slowly went down the steps. Lots of people where still asleep.

Where's Jake?

I saw him sleeping on the other couch last night but he isn't their.

I felt a small ping of panic.

Did he just leave?

The front door was open. I ran out of it.

Jake was sitting on the bottom step, leaning on his arms and breathing heavy.

"Jake?"

"Allie"

"What?" I asked

"Her name was Allie"

I looked down, dots of blood going down the step. Her body was laying to the right of the steps in the green grass.

"You killed her?" I asked

"Yes, would have had to anyway" I said

"Jake... are you ok?"

"I'm fine" he said quietly

He stood up and turned around. Blood was on his hands and face.

"Is that blood black?" I asked

"No, it's just darker" he said

I walked inside and grabbed a small towel out of a basket. Me and my mom did laundry on every Friday, sometimes we didn't always put everything away and we left the towels and rags out regularly.

"Here" I said

He took it and wiped off the blood from his face.

"Wake the other ones up, we leave soon"

-1 hour later-
-Jake-

"Well we aren't taking any of the small ones" Nate said

"Some of the older ones don't want to go" Justin said sighing

Justin was a tall black haired boy, not he smartest but he was strong.

"Well it's not going to be just the three of us" I said
