Lost In Love

Chapter I

♥♡♥Ever Lasting♥♡♥

The day started with the buzzing ouf my alarm. I turned it off, just to be woken up by the next 4. I have to have a ton of alarms or I will sleep far too late.

I reluctantly got out of bed. I got dressed into my usual jeans and black t-shirt. I then pulled my stuff together, so that I could have some time left. I made myself toast, seeing as I don't like cereal or anything and if I make a real breakfast I will be late.

About 10 minutes before I had to leave, I put all my stuff by the door. I went up to my room so I could write my first Diary entry. I know what you're probably thinking - 'Diaries are so girly' which they may be. But I have to write in my diary because I have a wild imagination, which means I go crazy if I have too many thoughts.

"Dear Diary,

I am Evelyn Lasting, but my friends called me Ever. Its a long story as to why, but I don't have time to tell. So, I live in America and have for a couple years. I go to school and am a Junior. 11th Grade. I'm 15, soon to be 16. My friends are all Juniors or Seniors. I will add entrys weekly, and I will help you to get to know me,

I finished my diary, and put it back on the shelves, hidden amongst my books and old diaries. I rushed downstairs, because Megans brother, Joseph, is taking us to school as usual. I went to the car to see Lara, Joseph and Megan inside. Joe wasn't there because he doesn't go to school with us, and neither does Joe, but Megans parents told him he had to take us.

Once we arrived at school, we all said thanks to Joe and went to find our friends. Since we joined this school we had been friends with them.

Here's a quick introduction:

Theres Megan, who is kind, funny but can be slightly shy around boys.

Theres Lara, who is a daydreamer who has been dating Jamie for a year, after her break-up with Ben who cheated on her.

Theres Alex, who's kind of shy, compared to most boys, and I would pair him and Megan.

Theres James, who is like me, can be annoying if he wants to. He can be full of himself and stupid sometimes, but he's always there for us if we need him.

There's Lucy, who's our cute little blonde friend. She is a happy girl, and reminds me of Megan.

Theres Lucas, a Senior, who is Lucy's older brother. He is nice, but he isn't around that much.

Then theres Jamie, a senior, who we actually met on the plane here from England. We were surprised when we met him in sophomore year. Lara and him have been together for a year.

Theres also Maria. She is like James, and can be annoying. We love her, and she's our amazing sister.

There's Erin, who's in our year. She's Aarons little sister, and only met us because Aaron and Lucas are friends, so Lucy and Erin got to be friends. They are close, but I am also quite close with her.

And finally, there's Aaron. He's my best friend, out of the boys. I feel like I've known him the longest of all the boys, even though I met James first. He's like my big brother.

Megan, Lara, Alex, James, Lucy, Maria and Erin are Juniors, like me. Lucas, Jamie and Aaron are all Seniors.

We found the guys all chatting, just before the bell went. Megan, Lara, James, Lucy and Erin are all in my homeroom class so we went to homeroom together. The girls all chatte ld about clothes and things I didn't like, so I went to chat with James about video games, and how I am way better than him, but he dissagreed and said he was better.

In homeroom, our teacher just took our register and then he let us chat, so that he could read his book.

"So, Lynne, what you doing Wednesday?" James said.

I rolled my eyes. Everyone called me Ever, except James who called me Lynne.

"Why, James? Asking me on a date?" I said, trying to look innocent.

"Well, I would, but I don't think I should go on a date with my little sister..." I laughed, "No. The guys and I are gonna see who is the king of the xbox. That and the fact the girls are going on a shopping trip..."

My eyes widened in horror. James laughed at me.

"Okay! I'll prove I am king! While they go..." I shuddered, "Shopping."

I could tell that James was trying not to laugh, so I sent him a glare, which only made him laugh harder.

I ended up laughing too, and the whole class rolled their eyes at us or ignored us. For us, this was normal.

We were let out of homeroom, so I parted ways with James, and went with Erin and Lucy to art. Art was my favourite subject, because we were allowed to do whatever we wanted, meaning that I could draw or doodle to my hearts desire, and I wouldn't get told off, I would get praised.

I got so drawn into my work, that I didn't realise the bell had gone until Lucy told me everyone was gone. I flushed a deep red and put my sketchbook away. I hurried along to Spanish class, where I just sat next to Lucy, taking down notes and doodling Megan and Alex holding hands, from the back.

I rarely ever shared my drawings. Even though I was proud of them, I didn't like to show them off... I felt it would be too rude. At break I got out my picture I drew in Art. It was all of us, out in the forest playing around. I added extra detail to everyone, and once the others came over I put it away. I remembered it was Lara's birthday on Friday, so I made a mental note to get her something... I am so dragging James along. I lf I have to go shopping, he does too!
