♥♡♥Ever Lasting♥♡♥
Christmas was finally here. Well, almost. It was Christmas Eve, and it was getting late.
"Eve, honey. Are you coming to watch the movie with us?" My mum asked.
"Yeah, sure. I'll be down in a minute - Tell Lyla to get me some snacks!" I said.
Every Christmas Eve, Lyra, Lyla my parents and I always watched the same movie before going to sleep.
I went downstairs in my cool penguin pyjammas, and set up the movie. I grabbed myself a bowl of cheese puffs, Lyla took off me. I snatched it back and pointed at the table where they came from. I then realised the bag had more in, so I gave them the bowl and took the bag for myself. The five of us were in the living room, getting comfy. My parents were on one sofa, and Lyra and Lyla on the other. I sat inbetween them both, but on the floor.
We watched our movie, and sang along with the few songs. I loved the Polar Express - It was a lovely movie!
~~~
We finally went to bed when it finished, and I made sure the girls went to sleep, their stockings all made up. Lyra was younger, so she got more excited about Christmas, but Lyla still got excited - She was only 12!
After making sure they were going to sleep, I went to my room and got ready for bed. I made sure my stocking was ready, and then got into bed. I made sure I had my favourite teddy before drifting off to sleep...
~~~
"It's Christmas! It's Christmas! Wake up! Wake up!" Lyra sang excitedly.
"Can't I go back to sleep?" Lyla complained, yawning.
"It's Christmas!" Lyra sang, jumping up and down.
Although Lyla and I were very different in personality, neither of us were morning people.
"Come on Lyla, lets go annoy our parents and open our presents!" I said, excitedly.
That made her eyes light up. All three of us loved presents!
Lyla ran into her room and grabbed her stocking, and ran to our parents room. I picked up Lyra, and got our stockings and took them to our parents room.
I put Lyra down on their bed and she started singing Christmas songs loudly. Our parents woke up quite quickly, and we started opening presents. I opened lots of chocolate, and small puzzles and things.
~~~
Once the stockings were emptied, we went back to our rooms, and got dressed. I guickly cooked some breakfast while the girls were getting ready. We always had breakfast before opening our real presents, because it makes it more magical if you can open presents for ages, not getting distracted by the thought of Breakfast.
We started off with presents from cousins. Lyra got colouring books, Lyla got some paints and I got some new Tshirts of different styles and colours - So I could make more tees.
From our Grandparents, Lyra got some necklaces, Lyla one of the latest music discs and I got a disco filled with all my favourite music.
From our parents, I got a ton of art supplies, lots of sweets and chocolate, some new trainers and a couple Disney Movies on DVD. Lyra and Lyla got lots of things that they liked, too.
Finally, it came to our gifts from eachother.
Lyra got lots of small arty things from me, and some dresses and heafbands from Lyla. Lyra would probably do painting in her old dresses, so she could keep her new ones for nice occasions.
