Chapter XXXIX

Megan

I ran along the street to Alexs house. He was standing outside his door. I leaped into his arms and swung my legs around his waist. He put his arms around my waist and we were spinning round and round. I put my legs down and we were still in a hug. He leant in and we kissed. His Mum took a picture. I did not care all I wanted was Alex. When we broke the kiss we hugged and hugged I never wanted to let go of him. I loved him with all my heart. He gave me a piggyback up the stairs and dumped me on his bed. Then he picked up a picture of us in Disneyland and two necklaces. He connected the necklace together. It was a two park necklace shaped. He put the one that said Alex around my neck. The other, which said Megan he held in his hand. It was beautiful. I held it close. 'I love it' I said and kissed him. He kissed me back. I felt so lucky to have Alex. But I didnt. His Mum called him to put his boxes in the van. He was taking a boat to Scotland seeing as they would need alot of space in the airplane. He ignored his mum and stayed in the kiss. My mum had arrived now to wish them a very safe journey. 'Thanks, for the best year ever' I said and gave him a hug. 'Thats Okay. You deserve the best.' He replied. 'Oh, I nearly forgot. I filmed us together some of it. Like in Disneyland.' He handed me a DVD. This made me cry he held me close. 'Everythings going to be alright' He told me. He handed me a tissue and we walked downstairs holding hands. 'Alex. Hurry up' His Mum called. 'Were going to be late!' We appeared at the front door. I was in tears and I could see Alex wanted to cry. But he stayed strong. Joseph was walking past the street and mouthed at Alex. 'Is she alright' Alex nodded and Joseph hung out on the street my mum and dad wished them a safe journey and hoped for the best. My head was facing the ground, Alex lifted it up and kissed me. We stayed Kissing until the last minute he had to go. We held hands and even when he was in his car we had one last kiss through the window we broke and I stood back. Alex shouted 'I LOVE YOU MEGAN BROWN AND I ALWAYS WILL' I shouted back 'I LOVE YOU TOO ALEX SMITH, I WILL NEVER FORGET YOU' then the csr turned the corner and it was gone. Then I remembered Joseph was across the road. I ran as fast as I could to get away. Im a really fast runner, but its hard to sprint when someone is chasing you. Joseph grabbed my arm and pulled me back. 'What do you want' I asked 'To know your Okay' He said 'Im fine Joe' 'Clearly not' he replied 'Just leave me alone!' I pleaded. 'Let me treat you to some Coffee, as friends' He said 'Your going out with Ever and if she sees you with me she will get the wrong impression and what is it with you and Coffee' I asked. 'No, she wont. You two are friends' He explained. 'We used to be friends, now she hates me' He dragged me along to the Coffee shop. I just wanted to go home. I was fed up of everything. My eyes were all red and puffy. He ordered two coffees. 'Remember, were only friends' I told him. 'I know, I know, I have Ever anyway' He told me. Ever was in the shop.... She hates Coffee though. Joseph paid for our coffees and we sat down. Ever was looking at us the whole time. I stood up and walked out of the coffee shop. Joseph followed me 'Where are you going' He said 'Anywhere but here' I shouted. 'Why' He wailed. 'Ever. Ever is in the shop and shes staring at me. I cant do it' Then I walked off, well more like ran, I speedwalked. When I crashed into a kinda cute boy. He had brown hair swept to the side and blue eyes. He looked around my age. He smiled at me. I smiled back. I said 'Hello' 'Hey!' He replied. Okay so hes not shy. 'Im Megan, and you are?' 'Im Luke, Im new to this area. Im attending the school of arts' 'No way! I go to that school' 'Cool. Do you want to go to the park sometime? Hows Tommorrow?' 'Great.' I pulled out a piece of paper and wrote my number down. 'See you then' We smiled and walked our ways. I arrived home. Alex. Oh.... Iv got a date tommorrow and Alex will probably be annoyed. I wont tell him.

***THE NEXT DAY***

I decided not to put much effort into what I was going to wear. I put on a fluffy white jumper, Padded WaistCoat (Gilet) and some white/grey jeans. I straightened my hair and put on my boots. I walked out the door and went to the park. Luke was standing by a tree on his phone. He turned it off when he saw me. 'Hey Megan, I just sent you a text' As he said that I felt my phobe vibrate in my pocket. 'Sorry im late' I apoligised. 'Its Okay. I think you look very pretty' 'Thankyou. Are you going to be a Junior at School?' I asked
