Lost In Love

Chapter V

I stuck to my word and met Jamie the next day. I met him at the usual place by our favourite milkshake place. We each got a milkshake and started walking.

"So why did we meet up today?" I asked.

"We are going to do a little birthday shopping." He said, with a smirk on his face.

"Honestly you have done loads for me already, I don't need anything else." I said, pleading.

After a while, he got me to agree that he could buy me more presents. We went to new look, primark, topshop, accessorize, H&M ect.

Eventually I ended up with 5 extra presents from Jamie. A new dress, a skirt, and new shirt, a pair of shoes and a new pair of sunglasses(ray ban).

He had spent up to £60 on me already!

"Ok." he said. "One last present."

My mouth fell open. "More presents?" He took me to a jewellery shop, and dragged me inside.

He said to the lady "Im Jamie."

She disappeared behind a curtain and reappeared with a box. She handed the box to Jamie and we walked out. He took me all the way to the park next. We found a clearing in a group of trees where we see a bench. He took me over and we sat down. He smiled and opened the box.

Inside there was a beautiful bracelet, I picked it up and gasped in awe. There was a heart charm handing off, which said 'Jamie and Lara Forever <3'. I leant in a hug him.

"Best boyfriend in the world." I said to him.

He dragged me off him so he could kiss me. We sat for about 10 mins so I could admire all my presents and thank him for everything.

"Jamie."

"Yeah."

"For my birthday my parents are letting me go to Paris with 5 friends, and I want you to come."

"Yeah of course I'll come! When is it?"

"Not for about another month. But your the first person I told."

"Okay." he said. We got up and started walking again. He took me back to his house again, as his parents were out of town. We played with his dog, and even I played a little Xbox with him.

Of course I was rubbish and kept dying in the game - everyone knows that Ever is the best on the Xbox. We had a good laugh and he offered to make me a meal, my favourite curry. He tried his best to make it romantic.

He dimmed the lights, lit some candles and put on some music.

After we finished the meal we danced to a few songs that were playing. He knew me too well.

He played 'Story of my life' by One direction, my favourite band. After a while I checked my phone and it was 8:00pm. I said that I really should get home.

"Hey, why not stay the night?" he asked.

I phoned my mum and she seemed okay with it. Looks like I'm staying here tonight. He gave up his bed for me and got himself a mattress to sleep on the floor.

***NEXT DAY***

I woke up at see Jamie staring up at me.

"Having fun down there?" I asked, laughing.

"Yeah. I am. How about breakfast."

"Pancakes?" I asked.

For the next half an hour we tried to make pancakes, but they kind of ended up deformed. That might of been due to the fact we kept having food fights, and throwing the mixture at each other.
