Lost In Love

Chapter XX

Going back to school in America was so strange… especially as we had been away so long. Although it was funny seeing everyone's faces when I turned up with a purple cast on my arm. It brought up alot of questions.... 'How did you break it?' 'What happened?' 'Was it serious?' 'Did it hurt?' And awkward when you have to reply to all those questions with…'I don't know.' With got me alot of confused looks, but they still wanted to sign my cast. I saw George talking to Ever on the first way back and decided not to interrupt, I would probably see him later. The bell went and I made my way to my dance class.

***DANCE***

We were the top group for dance class, so we did pretty fast dances. We did a dance to hairspray, and I went with a girl called Izzy. She was really good at dancing too, because she took dance classes with me out if school. Yes I took dance classes. Luckily the dance we did today was one that we had already learnt bits of, and the next bit didnt involve using my arms alot. But I still had to take it careful.

***END OF DANCE***

When Dance was over I was walking down the hallway on the way to science when I saw Jamie. I turned around and walked the other way. I heard him shout my name, but I kept on walking. I made my way round to science.

***SCIENCE***

My mind wandered… practically the whole lesson. Much like Niamh… Who I also noticed wasn't listening.

That didnt seem to last long, but I didn't care… I had other things on my mind right now. My cast was now almost full of names, but I still had one person I wanted to sign it. I didn't want to seem to desperate, but for some reason I wanted George to sign it, because we are friends. I was walking along and he was walking along the other side of the hallway the opposite way. Perfect. When he saw me he smiled and waved, then he saw my cast. He looked quite shocked. I gave him a nod to show we were on good terms. He walked straight past me. Damn. 'Laura.' I then heard behind me. Bingo. I turned around. 'Yeah?' I said. 'Can I sign your cast?' He asked. 'Yeah course.' I said. He took out a sharpie and wrote his name on the top, I told him to write it nice and big, so he did. 'Get better soon okay?' he said before smiling and walking off to find his friends. I was happy now and nothing could get in my way. Except Mr Weadner. He didnt approve of anything out of uniform in any shape or form. I walked round the corner only to be stopped. 'Miss Hills, I don't believe this is uniform.' He said grabbing my arm. 'Ouch!' I yelped. Lucy, Erin and Maria ran up behind me. Lucy wasn't at all scared of any teachers, especially not Mr Weadner. 'I'll have you know he has broken her arm! So why do you go minding your own business! And think about your actions before you do them! Because one day you'll pay the price, and it won't be pretty!' She kept shouting and shouting and couldn't seem to stop. 'Well then Lucy how would you like to earn yourself a school detention for being rude to a teacher,  oh no wait you already just did. How about a temporary exclusion? I'll be phoning your parents after school.' He said as he walked off. 'Lucy you didn't have to do that for me.' I said. 'Yes I did, that rotten man needs to get his stories straight. I ain't bothered about no exclusion. My parents will understand.' She reasoned, before giving me a big hug. Then the bell went and I remembered we had an important end of the day, school assembly.

***NEAR THE END OF ASSEMBLY***

And the highlight event at Christmas time for this school! The Christmas Dance! Ladies and gentlemen pick your dates, we are making this year better than ever! 'Uh oh' I thought to myself. 'Who am I supposed to go with?' I questioned. Ever would probably go with James as friends, and Megan would go with Alex. I couldn't exactly go with Jamie! Who else was there. I felt my phone buzz in my pocket. I quickly checked it to see I had a message from Ever. 'Hey Larz! Come to my house after school. Kay?' I read from my phone. I texted back and said 'Okay.' I looked over to her and she did her cheeky grin.

We all bundled out, and out of the two school entrances. I walked over to Evers house and typed in the pin for the front door. I let myself in and saw Ever sitting in her living room, like she had been there all day, Watching Jinxed! Again!

"Hey Larz!" She said.

"Umm hey?" I replied.

"Come sit I want to tell you both his epic dream I had a few nights ago!" She said, so I walked over and sat down.

"Well…" she started. "We all had these really awesome powers, like superheroes. I could freeze and shatter. May had the power of water. And you had the power of fire. At first we were all enemies… but then BEN turned up with all 3 boys tied up! So you attacked him with your fire power! And then may pretended to help him by putting out the fire with her water powers. But then I froze him solid and shattered him to pieces. Then all the boys are saved!" she announced, looking fulfilled.

"Okay… wait three boys? Jamie was in it?" I asked.

"Well at first I thought it was him, but the face was blurred," she explained, "But then in my daydream, it turned out to be…' she said taking a long pause. 'George. Although I don't understand why, I mean he's my friend and he doesn't really know any of you guys..."  I suppose it made sense George was there. It was just a coincidence, because Ever and George were friends. At 4:00pm my mum came to pick me up on her way home from work.

***AT HOME***

I watched the 1D movie, which I had finally got on DVD! I was absolutely 1D mad. Whenever something was said about One direction  everyone would turn to me. Louis was my favourite although Megan and I kind of fight over him sometimes.

***2 HOURS LATER***

The One direction film was over and I decided to go to bed… before slowly drifting off into a deep sleep....

~Dream~

Alex flew along inhospitable scuba diving suit, shooting water everywhere. And George followed, in his Spider-Man-like costume, using his fire power. Then James came along… Which definately brought the hysteria to the dream.

He was flying along in his blue shiny leotard, wearing fairy wings and holding a magic wand. Meanwhile Ever, Megan and I were tied up by Ben. We were in the back of his truck, and he opened the doors to reveal us inside. It seemed like we were the damsel's in distress. The boys looked distraught. George attacked him with his fire power. Then Alex washed the fire away with his water power, which drenched Ben head to toe. Then James froze Ben and shattered him to pieces. All three of them flew over and set us free. Ever ran to James who gave her a supply of lollipops. Megan ran to Alex, who kissed her and then they hugged. George came over and gave me a quick kiss on the cheek and then flew away.

~End of dream~

I woke up still laughing about James, but confused as to why George flew away at the end. I took my phone off charge, and checked my Facebook page. I scrolled down my newsfeed before seeing a post that George had written just a few minutes ago.

It said 'I just had a weird dream… it had James, Alex, Evie and Megan in it… also a random guy that I don't know… And a blurred face that I couldn't understand... I had fire powers though, which was cool, I guess...'

I knew exactly what he was talking about. The boy he didn't know was Ben. And the blurred face... was me. We both had exactly the same dream last night. I checked on the comments to see one from Ever, she said 'Awesum! I had a dream lyk dat da other day!'

Of course, typical Ever. I texted her to tell her about the dream I had last night... and how it was freakishly like hers...
