Lost In Love

Chapter VI

I was walking round the Mall when I had an Idea... Dresses. I loved Dresses. Well it was about time Ever had a new dress, it had been ages. I told her to meet me by the sweet store as she knows where that is. I doubt she knows where the dress shops are. I also invited Erin and Maria.

We arrive at the dress shop and to my surprise Ever was not paying attention. I showed her loads of dresses but her reply was

"No, Too Pink, Too Short, Too dressy. Too long, Too green"

"Ever, this dress is Red, not green. Are you even paying attention" I asked, quite annoyed. She was just sitting there. Evie found a really nice dress which looks like a rainbow of sorts.

"This is SO Ever!" Erin said. Ever nodded but I could see she really was not bothered. We brought the lovely dress and went into another dress shop to buy her a dress for school so she could look nice she hated all of them.

We ended up buying her a rainbow top as the skirt that went with it she refused to buy. Fair enough. We did buy her a dress. Next was the hair salon we all walked in and picked the most Crazy Colours for Ever, We knew she would not dye it permanently, so we got spray that washes out, plus dye for late occasions. The other girls got their hair cut and styled. I did not, I have red hair already so it would ruin it if I changed it - I have to dye it every 6 months...

I said good bye to the girls and on my walk home I passed Alex. So I smiled.... He went bright red and ran away... Which was Odd.

I shruged and continued to walk home. At home I got out a beautiful blue dres. It had little sequins and a ribbon round the waist. I loved it.  I was still concerned about Alex so I phoned him up, No Answer.

I folded my dress up and put it in its little box. I ran down and grabbed some dinner and phoned Lucy. We were having a Sleepover tonight. I packed my bag and smiled to myself then I dashed out the door. I slowly walked to Lucys House.

When I arrived she greeted me and took me out to the tent in the garden. I layed out my bed, Maria was there as well, Me and Maria are quite good friends, although she's closer to Ever and James. She was so sweet, although quite crazy.

It was getting late so we all got ready for bed. My hair was all matted so it took me a while to brush it through. I brushed my teeth and washed my face removing my make up then tied my hair up in to a high pony tail.

Maria had already been in Lucys bathroon so next it was Lucys turn I ran back to the tent with my bags to find Maria sitting in her bed reading a book. We read until Lucy got back 10 minutes later.

Lucy had brought sweets with her it was now around 10:15 so we played a game of truth and dare. Lucy dared Maria to go outside and run around like a loonatic. She did it. When it was my turn I said Truth. Maria gave me a Truth. It was which boy do you like the most in our little group. Alex was the obvious answer but I stayed silent. Then I said, "Well my boy best friend in the group is probably Alex..."

They smiled. It was around 1 am when we decided to go to bed, I was so tired so I fell right asleep.

**In the Morning**

I woke up before everyone else so I crept into the house to get dressed. I put my Denin Shorts on and My thick winter Jumper with my favourite T-Shirt underneith. It have writing on saying 'Surf your Heart out' with a picture of a surfboard. Surfing is one of my favourite things to do at the beach!

I tip toed back into the tent they were still asleep. I grabbed my hair straighteners and went back to the bathroom. I straightened my hair and clipped the front part of my hair back. I sprayed my perfume and then I went back to the tent.

When Maria woke up, she asked me why I get up so early. I shrugged and packed up. I had to leave early to get to Evers. Doubting she was up, I walked over there and her Mum let me in and up to her room. I was not surprised that she was asleep - she liked to sleep. I woke her up, it was 10:00 now.

Laras Party was later and we had to prepare. I got in to my dress and looked in the mirror I smiled at myself. I took a while but I finally managed to get Ever to get into her dress by putting her in the bathroom.

***At The Party***

I sat around with the girls, until we split up to go see the guys. I was alone so I went to get a drink. I saw Ever say something into Alex's ear, making him blush violently. He walked over to me shyly.

"Uhm... Would you, uh... Like to dance?" He asked, stuttering.

Now it was my turn to blush.

"Yeah! Sure!" I said, trying not to go shy. I needed to sound confident.

We went up to dance, and we had great fun. It changed to a better song, and I saw Ever and James dancing, but Ever was in her shorts and tee... I just enjoyed dancing with the guys until it was late, and we all went home, happy after Lara's surprise party.

I was happy when I thought about that evening, and how I danced with Alex. It was cute how he blushed alot, and I seemed to do it too! His shyness is also cute, and he's definately my favourite friend out of them all!
