Lost In Love

Chapter XXIV

***Megans POV***

I walked into the Christmas Ball with Alex, holding hands. He was really sweet. Ever called us up on stage and we played a few songs.

Alex and I wanted to go and dance so we went and danced, telling Ever what we were doing.

Ever and James continued to sing and dance, until they gave up and put on real music. They played a slow song and me and Alex did a slow dance. Near the end of the song we leaned in and kissed.

I felt the butterflies in my stomach and gave him a big hug. We were hugging I looked over his shoulder and saw Lara in the corner under the misteltoe with George they kissed slowley. That made me smile.

Lara always had a small crush on George. Even when she was with Jamie. She did not know him when she was dating Ben though.

I broke from my hug with Alex and smiled. It was near the end of the ball. Alex walked me back and we kissed in door way. We held hands till the last minute then parted our ways.

I was leaving for Canada over the Christmas holiday. And I was going to miss everyone so bad.

The next morning, I woke up in a good mood. Alex phoned me up and asked me to meet him in the park round the corner. I got up and dressed and walked to the park, listening to my music in the meantime. It was a semi-long walk - Ever would have got half way and sat on the floor, refusing to walk any further. She had done that before.

***At the Park***

I ran up to Alex and gave him a big hug. He knew I was going to Canada tommorrow.

I was feeling like a child, so I went on the Swings in the childeren park. Alex had brought a picnic we ate it talking about Ever and James and Lara and George.

We had a walk to the river and splashed our feet in it. I got a call from my mum, telling me to come home and finish off packing.

It was already 3pm and we had a 4am flight to Canada to visit my Grandma. I had a goodbye kiss fron to Alex and ran home.

I finished off packing my dresses and shirts my shoes and trousers were already packed. I have my hand bag for my phone and music player and things like that. I tucked my special teddy in my suitcase and my jewelry in my had bag. I had my pjamas packed in my suitcase. I knew I had forgotten something, but I did not know what though.

I had a little snooze, when I smelt food. It smelt like Fish and Chips. I dashed downstairs and tucked in to my food.

I had a little sleep after dinner.

When I woke up it was time to go I put on my warm winter coat and slipped on my boots. I loved the christmas season. I had my earmuffs and scarf on. I put my Warm Gloves Picked up my handbag.

I dragged my suitcase down the stairs and through the hall and then I walked out the door.

We arrived at the airport and sat in the waiting room whilst my brother and my dad went to see what time the flight was. We dropped our luggage om the convabelt and walked through the scanners. Surprise. Surprise. I went off on Joe. He had a video game snuck in his pocket they removed it and we continued on to the plane. I say down and Joe sat next to me. I started to text Alex. He nugged me and said "Who you Texting?"

"No-One," I replied

"Liar," Joe said

He grabbed my phone as the plane flew up it was a sudden shudder and he dropped my phone and it smashed into tiny little pieces.

"Idiot!" I hissed, angrily.

"It would not have happened if you would have told me who you were texting. What am I supposed to tell Mom'!"Joe said, worried.

"Not my problem," I said bluntly, picking up to broken pieces of my phone. I got a plastic bag out of my bag and dumped the pieces of my phone in it and sighed. I rumaged around my bag and brought out my music player plugged in my headphones and listened to One Direction whilst staring out the window thinking about everything...

When we arrived we unpacked our things, and put up our tree for Christmas - Not long anymore! I lay in my bed, in the room next to Joe's. I prayed that he got me a new phone, because my Ipod took forever to load, and I couldn't text Alex! I hoped Alex wouldn't worry when I didn't reply. I sent him a quick message in our private chat on InstaChat.

Little.Red: Sorry - Joe broke my phone :/ Hoping for a new one? ;)

Prince.A.Charming: No problem. Although you may have a few texts... I got worried when you didn't reply for hours...

Little.Red: Well, I gotta go xx

I logged off and went to sleep...
