I dragged a very unhappy James into the mall.
"Why are you dragging me to the mall! You hate the mall!" James said grumpily.
"What do you mean," I gasp, "I love the mall! Its so amazing with all the people and things that I want to ruin! Don't you just LOVE it!" I said, the last sentence sarcastic.
"Oh I love the mall! So many pretty girls, and video game shops."
I stare at him annoyed.
"Fine," I state, "We need to get Lara a present AND I NEED LOLLIPOPS!"
James glared at me when I shouted in his ear.
"I hate you," He grumbled.
"You know you love me," I replied.
"Yes!" He said, dramatically falling to the floor, "I am in love with you! I would buy you all the lollipops in the world if you would love me back!"
"Hmm..." I say, pretending to think, "All the lollipops in the world, and you... or no lollipops and no you... I don't love you, so I will get my parents to buy me ALL THE CANDY IN THE WORLD!"
James pretended to look heartbroken, and then he just got up and walked away.
"You know I have your wallet right?" I say, holding his wallet up in the air. He walks back to me.
I look around, and see people watching and laughing. James takes my hat off my head and holds it out, as if for people to put money in.
I snatch my hat back, and put it on my head.
I dragged him off to a jewlery store, and found the most perfect necklace. It had a amethyst crystal on the end, and it had small jade crystals in the silver around it. It was the colour of Lara's eyes, and I knew she would love it. It was perfect. I checked the price label - It was $76. I could easily afford that, so I brought it, along with a charm bracelet with the name Lara engraved on a heart charm, along with a heart Ever and a star saying Megan. I had them specially engraved for her, a special crystal put in each charm.
After that, I went to the candy store and saw my favourite lollies. I loved the cherry ones, but the powdered were my very favourite. I turned around to see James pulling me out. I frowned at him, and then he pulled out a bag of the powdered lollies. My eyes lit up like a little kids in a candy store... which technically I was.
Later, we went and got some lunch. It was Lara's birthday tommorow, so the girls would probably be planning a party. Just then, I got a text from Megan.
'Meet at your candy shop NOW. We are getting you a dress for Lara's party! And for school!'
I groaned, causing James to look at my text.
"Hm. Never seen the tomboy in a dress before. I guess this means I can go!"
"No! Stay!" I beg.
"What? Want me to help you get changed?" James says, raising his eyebrows.
I go bright red. "No-what? I meant- oh just go..." I say, my mind getting confused until I give in.
James smirks at me and leaves. I reluctantly go to the candy store, for the first time ever.
"No. Too pink. Too short. Too dressy. Too long. Too green..." I say, complaining.
"Ever - this dress is Red, not green. Are you even paying attention?" Megan asks.
I shake my head. I have been sat on the floor of this shop for an hour of them showing me dresses. They should really know I will refuse every dress.
