Chapter four - Screen Test

The elevator had stopped on floor five and the both of us stepped out. The floor was decorated with different super heroes portraits and paintings from the comics. We walked pass several rooms and offices. "Do you know how to get there?" I asked, I already knew the answer but I wanted to start a conversation and be friendly, I didn't want to look all nervous and awkward, "of course I do" Said Robert shrugging, "aaand what is it? The place that we're going to?" I asked again, "It's a studio, directors use it to test the new actors and make them act with the other cast members to see how they will look like in the movie and how experienced they are and etc" He said and I nodded, "I thought you already knew these things, didn't you act before?", "I did but not like this, it was nothing more than a cameo actually so this is all new" I said and he smiled, Did I mention that his smile is so perfect and gorgeous?

we stopped in front of two large doors that had a sign to the left that read
"Avengers Infinity War Studio - Screen and Make up test"
when we entered, I was surprised by how huge it was, it looked like a movie set. It was filled with customs, cameras, lights, and backgrounds! Something I didn't expect for a studio. "This is really awesome" I said jumping up and down and Robert giggled, "alright kid go read your lines, I have an important call to make okay?" He said and I nodded.
Wait a sec, did he just called me kid?

I sat on one of the chairs and started to read the scenes and try to memorize my lines, I didn't want to mess up anything I was kinda scared that I would forget the lines and Robert would get all annoyed and angry.

My phone vibrated and I looked at it to see who texted me.
A message from Ace💛.
I unlocked the phone to see what did he wants, I was still mad at him tho.

From Ace 💛,
Hey babe, where r u? Come to my place x

He's talking like nothing happened this morning, like seriously?

I'm working, can't come.

I texted back and he called as soon as he read it
"What work? Mella Where are you?" Said Ace with a serious tone,
"I'm doing a screen test i'm busy i have to go"
"Hey no no no wait",
"What do you want Ace?",
"Are you mad at me?",
"Umm you lied, Of course I'm mad at you!",
"Wha- I didn't lie! I'm sorry I'll explain later when you come home, I know I was an as*hole this morning",
"I told you I'm not coming to yours today now please I have work to do" I hung up and put my phone on silent. Robert came back with Anthony and Joe Russo walking next to him. I stood up and shook their hands, "Nice to meet you two, again" I said grinning, I've met them when I auditioned, they were so kind and gentle. "Nice to meet you too, Kate" said Joe winking and I laughed, "You're ready?" Said Anthony smirking,
"yup".

It was a great experience, I really enjoyed every second of it. Me and Robert acted a couple of scenes together and everything went so smooth and beautiful. The Russos were awesome. Robert was really great and kind, he didn't get mad when I messed up my lines, He went easy on me, He was cool about it. He even gave me some tips to improve my acting skills and give a better performance, what a true legend.

When we finished the screen tests, Anthony and Joe sat with me and talked about the character and what their version of her looked like. They wanted me to cut my hair even shorter and dye it blue on top and black on the sides. they showed me my costume and It was awesometacular .They also asked me to keep my body in shape and I have only one month to learn martial arts and archery. I was planing to eat pizza for dinner, why??

"So when will we start shooting?" I asked,
"After one month and It'll be in Atlanta, I'm sure your agent will tell you all the details and we gave her the script too" Said Joe, "Didn't you guys said that it'll be after two months?"
"No who said that?"
"I don't know I read it some where" I laughed nervously, that was awkward. "Alright now do as we told you, read the script and we'll see you soon!" They both said good bye and left.

Robert left before them, so I had nothing to do there. I walked out of the building to the parking lot, I started my car and went to my parents house.

When I reached home, I saw Ace's car parked out side. Oh dear lord I'm so tired I don't have time for this. I'm not in the mood to argue. I got inside and saw him and Mike talking in the kitchen. I tried to sneak up stairs without him noticing but he saw me, dang it "Mella wait!" I stopped and sighed heavily, "what?" I said not looking at him,
"I was having a bad day I'm sorry" he said looking at me trying to look innocent and there I lost it I hulked out "A bad day?" I said rising my voice, I was boiling, I have a terrible control on my emotions, "A bad day!" I yelled, "shhh don't yell calm down" bitch shut up, "Ace l asked where've you been and you told me that you were with Adam and all of the sudden you were in court! You lied to me Ace and when I told that i got the part you were like 'yeah ok whatever' ", "mella you sound like kid it's not worth fighting, when i left from here I went to Adam, he broke his leg and he was badly injured, I was really upset about it you know how close he's to me, that was last night and today when you called I was in court and of course I was happy for you! I couldn't express my feeling I couldn't scream in court so that's why i didn't sound excited"
I didn't have anything to say, I was wrong, I felt bad for yelling at him. I nodded, "okay I'm sorry I didn't know " he grinned and kissed my forehead,
"alright romeo and Juliet get a room" said Mike walking past us and we laughed
"So" said Ace grabbing my Arms, "tell me what happened today!" He was so excited, now that's the man that I know! I beamed broadly and we went to my room and I told him everything about what happened Today.
