More than Just a Fan

I screwed up

"Dean, do they really think that Ruby's my girlfriend?" Sam asked.

"Looks like it." Dean replied.

"No. No no no no. This can't be happening. What about Gabe? Does he believe them?" Sam started to ramble. He didn't want to hurt Gabe. He hated to even think about hurting that little devil of an angel.

"Have you tried to explain it to him?" Dean asked, trying to calm his brother down.

"Yes. Of course I have. He won't talk to me." Sam was trying so hard to stop the tears.

"You really like him. Don't you?"

"What kind of question is that? Of course I like him. I like him a lot." Sam got quieter as he sat down on on of the beds. "I could actually almost say I love him. I know it's crazy. We've only seen each other for about a week then only talk over the phone or on skype for a couple months, but I think I love him. I can't loose him." Tears started to stream from his eyes. "We haven't been talking much, though. We've been so busy. Every time he's done with one of his classes, I'm shooting or at a stupid panel. I hate it. You have it good. Cas isn't in college. He has a job that he can take breaks from to talk to you. Gabe could think I have been trying to get away from him to be with Ruby. I don't even trust her." Sam started sobbing a little. Dean went over to the bed and comforted him.

"You're right. Cas and I have it easier. But you are forgetting that a good chunk of my job is kissing pretty girls. And I do miss Cas too. If you really want this to work out, it can. You two may have to make some sacrifices though, but it will. I will call Cas and see what's going on with Gabe. Alright?" Dean asked. Sam only nodded. Sniffling a tiny bit. "Alright. I'll be right back."

"Dean?"

"Yeah, Sammy?"

"Do you love Cas?"

"Yes. I do."

"Have you told him?"

"No."

"Tell him. He needs to know you love him. It will make him less worried that you will leave him for one of those girls."

"I know. I will. Soon."

"Good." Sam softly smiled to his brother and Dean smiled back. Then Dean took out his phone and called Cas.

"Hey, Cas. We need to talk about this whole thing between Sam and Gabe."

There we go. A better chapter. I know, I said I would go update my other stories, but this chapter kinda came to me and I had to write it before I lost it.
