The boys left an hour ago, tired and needed to be at home. Jessica dropped off my bag two hours ago, saying she left two minutes after my incident and that my mother is sorry and hopes to see me before graduation.

It's now 5:30 PM. I showered about thirty minutes ago and will wear a mini skirt and crop top, letting my hair down in curls. I've done light make-up with smoky eyes and red lipstick, completing the look with my black-heeled boots.

Thirty minutes later, Brandon picks me up and says, "You look amazing, Ana." I blush. He's in joggers, a blue shirt, and a gray sweater, and he opens the car door for me.

After I get in, he closes the door and drives off. I turned on the radio, and "What Makes You Beautiful" by One Direction is playing. I sing along, and Brandon chuckles, saying, "Wow, you can sing." I shrug, attributing it to my mom's talent.

We reached the ice cream shop ten minutes later. As I step out, Brandon holds the door open for me. Inside, there are many people, mostly families.

Brandon asks, "What flavor?" I reply, "I like vanilla, chocolate, and coconut." He orders, "Three scoops: vanilla, chocolate, coconut, and a banana split, please."

After we get our order, Brandon pays, and we find a table. Four people at a nearby table are reading newspapers.

Brandon asks, "What do you do for fun?" I respond, "Believe it or not, I like surfing and video games." He looks shocked. "You can surf?" I nod. My dad got a teacher for me when I was thirteen, and I spent the summer studying in Hawaii.

I slowly slid my hand into Brandon's. He glances up from his phone and squeezes my hand gently. "So tell me something about you?" I prompt.

He blushes and says, "I like running, video games, pizza, parties, and watching The Breakfast Club." I laugh, "The Breakfast Club? Seriously?" He nods.

We decide to grab pizza and head back to my place for movies. I order another three scoops of ice cream, and then we leave.

At the pizza place, we go through the drive-thru. Brandon orders two pepperoni pizzas and a case of soda. I handed him a hundred-dollar bill from my purse.

When we reach my house, Brandon parks in the driveway. I unlocked the door and found an envelope on the floor from my dad. It reads:

"I won't be back until your birthday, so I'm sending your cousin Trina to stay with you on Sunday. She'll attend college as usual.

Love,

Dad"

I sigh. Trina, my annoying cousin, is nineteen, blonde, has gray eyes, and loves to flirt. She was friends with Stephanie, which explains Stephanie's behavior. "This is going to be the worst three weeks of my life."

Brandon comes up behind me, sensing the bad news. I text Justin, sharing the news so we can meet up at his place over the next three weeks.

We head to the theater room, where I find Carlos crying while watching a movie.

Brandon whispers, "I'm going back upstairs. Call me when you're done." I nod and approach Carlos.

"Hi Carl, what's wrong?"

He sniffles, "My girlfriend cheated on me, and I really liked her." I sit next to him and hug him. "It's going to be alright, you'll see."

He asks, "Can I crash at your place tonight?"

I shrug, "Why not? You can sleep here if you want." He smiles and wipes his eyes.

I text Brandon to bring down the pizza. We decide to watch The Breakfast Club for Carlos's sake, eat pizza and popcorn, and drink soda.

All we're missing is the other guys, busy with their own plans. Kyle is set to get a girlfriend on Monday, which will likely continue for the rest of the school year.

Brandon remarks, "I love this movie; my mom made me watch it." I nod, and Carlos rolls his eyes.

I smirk at him, glad he's starting to move past his breakup. Brandon gives me a glance, and I squeeze his hand. He kisses my cheek, making me blush.

Carlos sighs, "Get a room or something." I say, "Sorry, Carl. It won't happen again." I shoot a playful glance at Brandon, then turn back to the movie.
