(A/N: This chapter is from Brandon's POV, with a brief section from Anastasia's at the end.)
Brandon's POV
It's Saturday, and I have to take Nikki to the hospital for her appointment—no choice in the matter.
Brenda shakes me awake, saying, "Wake up, I want to meet Ana today." I sigh.
I finally get up at 9:00 AM after partying late following my races last night. Since Brenda really likes Ana, I'll drop her off first.
"Give me ten minutes, Bre, then we'll have breakfast and go," I tell her. She nods and runs out of the room.
I receive a text from Nikki.
Nikki: My mum wants to meet you after the appointment.
Me: Okay.
I text Ana next.
Me: I'm bringing Brenda over to hang out with you.
Baby: Sorry, but I'm busy camping with the boys until tomorrow evening.
Me: Okay.
Baby: I can hang out with her tomorrow evening when I get back.
Sighing, I realize I have to take Brenda with me to the hospital since Mom isn't home. I get ready and make breakfast for us just as my phone rings.
It's Blake.
"Hi Brandon, I'm going to the park. Can I take Brenda? She'll make new friends."
"Sure, thanks man. Pick her up in about five minutes."
"Okay."
I tell Brenda, "You're going to the park with Blake."
She jumps up and down, clapping her hands. "Yay, Blakey is coming for me!" I chuckle. She likes Blake after me, not Jack—he stole one of her cookies last year.
I pick up Nikki, and we drive to the hospital. She looks nervous. "You're just getting an ultrasound; calm down," I reassure her. She nods.
In the waiting room, Nikki's name is called. We walk into the doctor's office, and he tells her to have a seat while he speaks to me first.
Afterward, he mentions a family planning program every Saturday from 2-5 PM, inviting both of us. I ignore the "girlfriend" comment. I get tested for STDs and, surprisingly, I'm clear.
The ultrasound reveals a small ball. "That's the baby; it's starting to develop. I'll make a copy for you, and Nikki, return in two weeks. I'll see you next week for the family planning session," the doctor says.
Nikki watches me as I take a copy of the ultrasound. "I'll keep it at my house," I say, and she nods.
I drive us to Starbucks to meet Nikki's mother and grab something to eat. Afterward, I take Nikki home, then hide the ultrasound under my mattress. My room is a mess, but I don't care.

Anastasia's POV
My friends and I are heading to camp at the lake for the night. I'm driving with Kyle, Arlene, Gregory, and Gabriella.
"Too bad Brandon can't come with us," I say.
Arlene replies, "He's always busy." I nod; ever since Nikki became his shadow, he's been hard to reach.
Two hours later, we park near the lake and unload our camping gear.
Justin suggests, "Let's go hiking in the woods. Who's with me?"
Kyle, Jordan, Jacob, Gregory, Carlos, and I raise our hands.
Luke says, "I'm staying here to watch our stuff."
"Me too, I'm going to take a nap," Gabriella adds.
We leave the couple behind and start hiking. I ask Justin, "Are you sure you know where we're going? I think we might get lost."
He chuckles, "Of course; I've done this a lot," but I still have doubts.
Two hours later, I ask, "Which way, Justin?"
He responds, "I think we're lost. No worries; I'll just call Luke." He pulls out his phone, but there's no signal.
Arlene asks, "Can we panic now?"
Jordan says, "Calm down; we're not lost, just in the middle of the woods without a clue."
Arlene rolls her eyes. "It's the same thing. Justin, you better figure this out; I'm hungry and thirsty."
She sits on a log, and my stomach grumbles too. Jacob pulls out a water bottle and gulps it down.
We all stare at him, confused. Arlene glares, "You had water this whole time and didn't tell us?"
He defends himself, "But no one asked me."
Arlene stands up, exclaiming, "You had water!?" and starts to strangle him.
Kyle pulls her off Jacob, who's gasping for air. Justin and Jordan watch in shock; people really can go crazy when they're hungry.
We sit down to think for a moment.
I suggest, "Let's just go back the way we came; at least that might help." Everyone stands and turns in the direction we came from.
**
Luke's POV
Three hours have passed since they left, and I'm getting worried; lunch is ready.
"Maybe I should look for them, Gab. They could be injured," I say.
"And leave me here alone? No way," she replies.
I sigh, listening to music on my iPod while Gabriella takes off her shirt to tan.

Anastasia's POV
As the sun sets, we finally return to camp, exhausted and starving. Our clothes are torn, and our hair is a mess.
"We were attacked by wild hogs and a moose," I tell Luke.
He laughs, "You guys are a mess. What happened out there?"
"Let's just say you're lucky you didn't come," I reply.
All I need now is a bath, dinner, Brandon's voice, and my bed.
