After returning from the mall, I noticed it was already 2:00 PM. As I pulled into the driveway, I spotted a pink box by the doorstep. I turned off the engine, opened the door, and grabbed my shopping bags. After unlocking the front door, I tossed my bags into the living room and picked up the box, which had a note attached.

"Happy birthday A, wear this dress and be ready by 6:00 PM; someone will pick you up. Love, Anonymous."

I carried the box inside and sat on the couch to open it. I gasped—the dress was gorgeous! I hurried upstairs to try it on, and it fit perfectly. Feeling hungry, I decided to eat some of the cake Freddie had made earlier and went to the kitchen.

"Just in time! I just finished cooking your birthday lunch," Freddie said.

I replied, "You don't need to make dinner; I'm going out." He nodded.

Outside, I waited for my ride, jacket in hand. My friends hadn't texted, likely still busy. Suddenly, a limo pulled up. A guy got out, covered my mouth, blindfolded me, and pushed me inside.

Scared, I stayed quiet during the long drive. When the limo finally stopped, I heard a fountain. Where was I? I followed the person guiding me, still blindfolded.

When the blindfold came off, I stood in a dark room. Everyone shouted, "Surprise! Happy birthday!" I gasped, trying not to scream, as I saw my favorite band, One Direction. All my friends were there, except for Stephanie and her minions.

My dad said, "All of this is for you, happy birthday, darling." Brandon approached and kissed me, saying, "I'm sorry, but your dad bribed me into this." I laughed.

The boys looked sharp: Justin in a blue blazer, the twins in white, Kyle in red, Luke in light blue, and Carlos in dark blue.

"Group picture!" We gathered for photos, first as a group and then with each member of One Direction.

Brandon and I went to the chocolate fountain. "Yum, chocolate," he said, dipping a strawberry. The waiters brought appetizers, and One Direction started to sing "What Makes You Beautiful." I took the microphone and joined in:

"You're insecure, don't know what for, you turn away when I look in the door. Don't you make up to cover up, being the way that you are is enough..."

After my performance, everyone cheered, and I settled into a chair as the band sang in front of me. Harry touched my hand, and I blushed when he winked. Jordan had to hold back Brandon to avoid any drama on my birthday.

After their set, girls surrounded the band for pictures and autographs. I spotted Gregory in the crowd and called out, "Hi Greg, didn't know you were a fan!" He turned red, shouting, "It's for my sister!" I didn't believe that for a second.

Suddenly, Harry lifted me in a bridal carry. I blushed, earning jealous glares from other girls. "Happy birthday, Anastasia! Hope to see you at one of our concerts. Our gift to you is a private tour of our bus." No way!

He set me down, and the band led me outside to their bus. My friends were waiting at the hotel entrance. Inside the bus, I took pictures and received a memento from each boy. I hugged them, saying, "Thanks! This really was a birthday to remember," and we took more photos together.

As I left the bus, waving goodbye, I realized I had Harry's favorite socks—a potential goldmine with fangirls in college.

Brandon said, "Hi baby, I really don't like that Harry guy. I don't trust him around you." I laughed at his jealousy.

My dad hugged me, saying, "That was my gift to you, Anne. Happy birthday." Arlene added, "Our gifts are at your house already." I smiled.

We went back inside and hung out, eating and drinking for the next two hours. Brandon frowned, "Are you sure you can handle the shots? There's a lot of alcohol in them." I nodded.

Jordan suggested, "Let's play 'Have I Never,' and the birthday girl can go first." We all sat at a table: the boys, Arlene, Brandon, Gabriella, Jack, and Gregory.

I said, "Have I never broken the law?" Justin, Jordan, Carlos, Jack, and Kyle took a drink. Arlene and I watched in shock as Kyle shrugged, "It was a one-time thing."

Jordan asked, "Have I never slept with a girl who is a virgin?" Jordan, Justin, Kyle, Jack, Jacob, and Gregory all sipped their drinks. Brandon smiled at me.

Arlene said, "Have I never almost gotten caught by the cops?" All the boys, Jack, and I took a sip, while Brandon and Gregory stared at me with their mouths open. "Sunday, I almost did thanks to Jordan," I said, earning a glare from him.

Carlos asked, "Have I never peed in a public pool?" Everyone laughed when Jordan took a sip.

Brandon said, "Have I never been in love?" Arlene, Luke, Kyle, Gabriella, Brandon, Carlos, and Justin all took a sip. I was surprised by Justin; I wondered who he was in love with.

After everyone had a turn, my head was spinning. Jordan was making out with a girl, and Arlene, Kyle, Luke, and Gabriella were drunk dancing.

Brandon and I went up to a balcony to watch the city. He said, "I really love you, Ana," wrapping his arms around my waist with his chin resting on my shoulder.

I relaxed against him, feeling heavy-eyed and drunk. As I fell asleep, I entered dreamland, reflecting on the best birthday party ever.
