(A/N) So I've chosen the girl for this book, thank- you for your lovely comment. Btw, don't get sad or angry that I didn't choose you, there will be other competitions.

Jack's POV
I rubbed my eyes again and peered into the mirror once more. NO, this couldn't be true. I look like an utter... fag. Since I got my glasses yesterday, I have been hiding away from people, scared of what they'd think of me. I looked like an even bigger geek!
This was not good. This. was. not. OK. I took a deep breath and padded my feet towards my door. Finn was outside my doorway, and he'd obviously been waiting to see what I looked like. I didn't show him yesterday for this exact reaction.
He burst into fits of laughter, before gripping the stair rail to hold himself up.
"This is perfect." He finally spoke, making my cheeks grow red instantly.
"Shut up!" I groaned.
I couldn't go to school. This obviously will make my reputation... 'Jack- biggest school geek.' Ugh, this was perfect. (Sarcasm obviously)
Finn ducked off into his room, before I could hear a faint flick of a lighter. Smoking inside... really Finn?
"Don't smoke inside Finnegan!" I covered my mouth immediately, remembering what I'd just said.
I could hear him making his way to the hallway, where I stood. Before thinking, I darted back into my room, and slammed the door just in time for his fists to slam.
"You're lucky to still be breathing, Jackson!" he threatened, as I gulped down a painful rock.
I hated that name... Jackson. Why did that have to be my name. Why couldn't I have a cool name?
"Get your ass out here so we can talk." He stated simply.
I frowned, and stood back from the door. Talk? Finn and I.. talking? Since when do we ever talk about things.
"Ok.." I mimed, opening the door before he grabbed me in a head lock and scruffed up my hair. I squeezed my eyes shut, expecting a punch or two, before he let me go, and I dropped to the ground.
"Ab- about what?" I gained my breath.
He didn't speak, but motioned for me to follow as we grabbed out bags and headed out the door. He didn't look angry or anything. If anything, he looked sly, as if he had a great plan in mind.
"About Emma." he smirked.
"W- What about her?" I'd never been this close to Finn without being hurt. Not for a long time anyways.
"Loosen up Jackson, I'm not going to kill you." His humour almost made me shiver.
"Her and Eric." he stated, almost cringing at those names in the same sentence.
"What d-do you mean?" I grabbed my glasses by the ends and slid them up comfortably.
"Doesn't it bother you that Emma is hanging around that jerk?" He sounded impatient.
"Come on Jackson, think about it. Emma should be here." He pointed his finger.
"She's happy where she is Finn, with Eric. She feels comfortable around some one who can comfort her." I said too honestly.
"What?" He stopped, blocking me from walking much further.
"Erm.."
"Are you saying that I can't comfort Emma, Jackson? It's that prick that can't take any care of her. I bet he hasn't once asked if she was ok, or asked if she wanted a hug... which by the way I would knock his front teeth out if he did. Emma is mine Jack. She needs to be with me, because she is too innocent and fragile to be lurking around. The only protection she has, is another human!" He blurted, making my eyes go wide.
