(A/N) Figured I should do a Jack and Finn Harries Fanfiction. (: Hope it turns out good!
The dreary English countryside always made me feel at home. The warmth of friends and family was a feeling that I felt comfortable around. The long drive however, was draining. Moving into the center of Great Britain; London was a knew adventure for me. Moving to new schools felt edgy. My mind was just flooded with a thought of being bullied again; I hated that. I turned over to Alfie, also known as Pointlessblog on Youtube, who is my best friend, and has been for the past 6 years.
"You'll love it Emma" he grinned reassuringly, forming creases either sides of his eyes as he smiled. Oh really.
"Hmm" I sighed, turning my attention out the window. "Let's hope so," I said through clamped teeth. I couldn't just tell him how I felt about it. It seems a bit absurd, but knowing that Alfie was filled with glee to start the new year, I didn't want to ruin that for him.
He flicked on the radio, pumping some beats to brighten the mood, along with his Ray Bans propped up on his nose. His grin spread from ear to ear, revealing his crooked smile.
"Come on Boo" he nudged me. (Boo is my nick name.) I rolled my eyes. I usually was the 'life of the party', though my nervous feeling about new schools were getting the better of me. I wasn't prepared for even more bullying. I never was prepared for it.
"You're an idiot Alfie" I teased, trying to cover up my worries for now.

The rain drummed down onto the roof of the car, my coat failing to keep me warm. I thought summer was going to be, well... more sunny. I clearly was wrong. I hate this place already.- I thought. Everything seemed out of place. If Mum was here, she'd would comfort me and understand. I just didn't want to put Alfie in that position.
"You ok Em?" Alfie asked, his eyes filled with worry. No, of course not.
"Yeah, I'm fine" I said casually.
He can see straight through me. I felt bad that I couldn't put my full trust into him, and tell him; but even if I did he would be mad I didn't tell him earlier. So my only best option was to just shrug it off. I was staying with one of Alfie's friends for 3 or 4 months, I couldn't remember. They were twins. Alfie only mentioned their names a few times, and clearly I can't remember their names either.
I shot my head over to Alfie, finding my words before I spoke.
"What are their names again?" I furrowed my eyebrows
"Jack and Finn" he said dumbly, as if I should've known. Which I should've.
"Oh, yeah" I rolled my eyes lightly.
Jack and Finn. I had seen them a few times on Google, and on Alfie's phone, however I haven't watched them on Youtube. According to Alfie they are a funny pair of lad's,

Minutes later we reached their house. Getting out of the car, my legs felt weak after the long drive. I closed the door, walking up the path to the front of the house. Alfie shot me a quick smile, before he knocked. I could hear footsteps thumping down the stairs before the door swung open.
I was sure my eyes widened before I even saw him. His electrifying eyes peered down to me, smirking before he asked,
"Emma, right?"
It felt like three tennis balls were lodged in my throat, because I couldn't even grasp a word. I quickly broke into a nod, my cheeks flushing a dark shade of red. This is rather embarrassing.
"Come in" he told us, opening the door even further. We stepped inside, to my surprise his house was rather neat for a guy. I was expecting clothes on the floor, an open chip packet on the lounge or whatever, but I was purely proven wrong."Nice house" I said, half surprised my voice worked again.
"Thanks" he beamed, before we took a seat on the kitchen stools. I rested my chin on my hands, focusing onto Jack once again. His emerald green specks in his eyes was like a puzzle. Oh god stop it Emma! - My brain shouts at me.
I loomed my eyes around the room, realizing what a nice job he had done. Wait.. no that's not it. Something didn't look right about it. I frowned, gripping onto the side of the stool. My eyes felt frozen after I spotted a packet of smokes on the table in the lounge room. An ash tray was placed beside it, the slight smoky smell finally made sense.
But however I never picked Jack for a smoker. He looks too innocent to even skip classes, or whatever most smoker guys do. I clenched my jaw tightly, turning my attention back over to them. They were already engaged in a conversation as I listened in,
"How is he?" Alfie asked, leaning forwards
"The same, of course" Jack sighed, rolling his eyes.
"He still lives here though, doesn't he?" Alfie wondered.
"Of course, Finn doesn't have the money to move out" he said through a clenched jaw. "He uses it for, drugs" he explained, his voice lowering towards the end.
I was sure his intention was for me to not over hear, however now I wished I didn't tune in. I thought neither of them for a start were, well smokers or whatever. Finn uses drugs. Jack and Alfie cocked their heads up, swallowing hard as they realised I had heard the whole thing.
"Er, Emma sorry" Jack sat up
"No, it's fine" I smiled, assuring them that I really didn't mind.
The room fell silent. I really didn't want to know that Finn was a drug user. My impression's were leaded in the wrong direction. Alfie stood up, directing me upstairs to my room. Finally the awkward tension was broken. I entered my empty new room. The white walls brightened the place up that's for sure. The bed was made neatly, the cupboard empty, and the desk cleared. I plonked myself down on the bed.
My thoughts still roamed in the realms of uncertainty. I stood up, my curiosity overpowering me. I left the room, venturing down the hall and into a room I suspected was Finn's. It smelt dreadful. The smoke was still flooding the air, making me feel slightly woozy.
A small pile of cash was layed out on the dark brown desk. I opened a few drawers, just for good measure. They consisted of smokes, packets of god knows what, and a bong. I felt a lump forming at the back of my throat. I wasn't sure I felt as comfortable as I did before I found out about Finn.
