Charlie's POV

I have almost been here for a week now and I still haven't seen my parents. You could say that I am ignoring them.

If your wondering what happen at the hospital after seeing Alex hug my Gramps.

Will let's just say he looked at me with a amused expression before laughing at me along with everyone else in the room.

Gramps explained that he came he to help he sort out something's but he wouldn't tell me what kind of things through even through I tried to bug them out of him but all he said was that I would know when the time is right.

Right now I am on my way out to my parents after getting a angry phone call saying I quote 'if you don't get you fat ass out too see your family by this afternoon then we are coming to get you.'

If your wondering why I am rushing there is because last time they saw Tommy they accused him of brain washing him and that he was nothing but a common hill billy hick.

Yeah my parents are stuck up snobs! I can't wait to get this visit over and down with so I can't get back to where I am needed. Where I want to be.

I ran the door bell and waited for the maid to get the door because heaven forbid my parents getting off there lazy bums to get the door.

That's another person I kind of miss the maid she was so kind to me but that is if they haven't gotten a new one from how they use to treat her.

The door opened to revile Ronny the maid I gave her a warm smile and a huge hug before I walked inside to meet my parents.

I walked into the sitting room and was greeted by both my parents hash eyes.

"Hello Charlie finally came to see you parents I see!" My Father said in a hash tone.

"Yeah well you know how time flys when you having fun" I said with a fake smile.

I sat down on the couch across from them trying to figure out the fastest way to get away from them.

"Your Father and I have been talking and we have come to a agreement." Shit it isn't good when she says stuff like this.

I didn't say anything while I waited for her to continue.

"We have agreed that you shouldn't see Tommy anymore; because you are giving this family a bad name by saying that he is you Grandfather. When people know that your Grandparents on both sides have passed away." She paused to make sure I was getting what she was saying.

"Plus you have been making it bad for business. Not to mention you have to change your looks we have already talked to a plastic surgeon that said he can fix you right up because darling your getting more unattractive as the days go by."

I tried to stop the silent tears from leaving my eyes. For the first time I looked at the people across the room from me like they were strangers.

They always say stuff about me losing weight but they never went to far or went to see plastic surgeons to see if someone could fix me up.

For the first time in a long time I wasn't the least bit happy with the way I looked and the people to blame are the ones sitting across from me.

Not to mention what they said about Tommy they didn't even care that he was dying of cancer the only thing they are worried about is what people think of them.

"From this day on you are no longer my family! Your that worried about what people think that you can't see the bigger picture. That the world doesn't revolve around use." I had to take a breath because I was breathing really fast.
