Chapter thirteen- Time to meet Charlies Dragon ( unedited)

Charlie’s POV

I didn’t expect to feel so different, or to have a horrible headache that when people talk even in a whisper it makes you feel like your head is about to explode. All I can say is the pain that I am feeling right now is nothing to what I was feeling at the beginning.

Then all of a sudden out of know where there is a voice inside my head, an angel like voice that grabs you attention and holds if without even trying.

“Hello Charlie it’s nice to finally meet you my name is Cora I am your Dragon.” It took me a second to notice that I had sparks like mini fire balls going down my body which made me really confused.

“Nice to meet you Cora but can I ask why I feel these sparks all over my body.”

“That’s because our mate is holding us” What the fudge balls is a mate? And why the hell do they have to talk so loud?

“What’s a mate?” I waited a good few minutes for her to answer but it was like she was silently telling me to ask Alex.

“Can everyone please fudging stop with the talking and growling before I smash heads together” I snapped quietly.

Finally some peace and quiet then I remembered that I had to ask Alex a question.

“Oh and Alex what’s a mate?” I asked while I forced my eyes open and started to sit up while taking everything in with my new eye sight. Which I have to admit is pretty awesome. Ok it’s not only awesome it’s also remarkable; I could get use to this.

Turning around to see Alex I took what he looked like in with a whole new light. I noticed that he has cute little freckles across your his nose and his eyes are even more beautiful that I could just melt into them.  I could see that his nose was a little crocked but it gave him a bad boy sexy vibe.

Not to mention his arms looked to be the size of tree trunks and he was built like no tomorrow I wasn’t wrong when I said he had muscles upon muscles.

“Mate is fine isn’t he?” Cora said with a small laugh.

“Are you going to answer my question?” I snapped because I just remember that I am pissed at him and all the others besides Candy. Cora senses my change in mood she asked what was wrong. So after I quickly explained she was as pissed off as I am which I don’t think is such a good combination.

If he didn’t answer careful I knew that I would snap and I don’t think he will be able to stop me no one will be able to because Cora isn’t happy of how he treated me even though I don’t know what exactly has her blood boiling but I have a feeling that I am about to find out.

“A mate is like a soul mate and you only get one in your life time. You’re my soul mate the only one that I’ll be able to love. You’re the only one that can complete me and you’re my only equal.” That’s why I have been having these weird feelings and the reason why he stuck around. It’s because I am his mate. Does he even like me as a person? I bet that he would have given me a second look if I wasn’t his mate.

“So you’re saying that the only reason you talked to me in the first place is because I am your mate? Not because you wanted to get to know me?” Cora and I are getting more ticked off by the minute.

Wow so much for liking me for me. Here I thought that I have finally found someone who likes me for me and doesn’t think that I eat too much but I guess I was wrong.

“Yes at first that was the only reason I did but—“before he could say anything else I ran I could feel all my bones on fire and I knew something was about to happen, plus if I looked at him anymore I would do something I would regret.

I didn’t make it that far before the pain got that bad but I didn’t fight the pain because I knew I was shifting and Cora was telling me silently to trust her.

The pain lasted for I don’t even know how long but I noticed that I have am in dragon form and I am a dark sky like blue it was beautiful. I also noticed that I was small really small. I have a feeling that this isn’t normal especially since Alex can stand near me and still touch my face with his hand.

Alex’s POV

I never thought that I would see such a small dragon in my life time. I mean she would be lucky to be as big as one of my wings. She would be the size of a dragon when the person first shifts.

I was about to talk to her tell I felt one of the worst pains like someone was trying to break through my barrier so that no one can read my thoughts.  The good thing is that the pain was over almost as soon as it came.

I knew someone was in my head but no matter how hard I tried to push them back out they were still there. It would take a powerful and I mean power person to stay inside my head for so long.

“Hey Alex it’s me Charlie how cool is it that I can talk to you like this” I almost feel over in shock she shouldn’t be able to talk to me through her mind not even Tommy’s dragon could do that but then again he never told anyone who was his wife dragon but she couldn’t be more stronger than him because that is un heard of.

“Hey Tiny what’s your dragons name?”  I sent to her through our weird mind link we have happening.

It looked like she was thinking long and hard before she answered, she is probably having convocation with her dragon but I swear that my dragon and hers have meet before we even become one.

“Why do you care who my dragon is, after all the only reason you talked to me in the first place, so if you want to know who my dragon is you have to earn the right because mate or not I’m not going to grovel at you feet I’m going to make you work for it.”

That snapped me straight out of my train of thoughts. How dare she talk to me like that I am her mate and she will respect me.

“Shift back now!”I snapped using every bit of power that Alec and I had to make her do as I asked I could tell she could fight it if she really wanted to but her dragon must have talked her out of it. I through my shirt at her so she could put it on; because we are going to have a nice talk. I will not have her reject me I have waited too long for my mate. Plus Charlie is perfect for me in every way temper and all.

Once she put her shirt on I picked her up while walking her into the bush so we could have our talk where no one else could hear us. I am over just being her friend I am ready for more. So by the end of our convocation I am going to make sure she knows just who she belongs to and why.

“What the hell do you think you’re doing Alex” she demanded and man can I feel her power coming off her in waves.

“Charlie I like you from the first time I meet you and you ran away like your ass was on fire, sure being my mate pulled me towards you but your personality captured me, even if you weren’t my mate I would have fallen for you. I want you to give us I chance. So please let me be your boyfriend.”

She was staring at me like she couldn’t believe what just come out of my mouth; she looked so adorable when she was confused. She always has this little pout when she is trying to figure out what people me.

I couldn’t help myself when I got the erg to kiss her I was leaning forward but before my lips  could touch hers she begin to talk.

“Why would you want to be with a girl like me? I mean look at me I have curves upon curves. The only six pack I will ever have is one in the fridge. Hell I ate more then you before I could shift into a dragon. Could you imagine going out to dinner with me I’d probably eat more food then they could make in a day. Plus you deserve better then------“I broke her off by pushing my lips on hers, I don’t want her to think that she is anything but perfect in my eyes and I am going to make sure that she believes it.
