Chapter nineteen- finally home

Alex’s POV

We have been back at the Kingdom for the last few hours and no one is telling me what is going on and why Charlie isn’t here. All I get is fake answers; that is if they even bother to answer me. Most people just decide to run away because they know I can’t stop them because I can barely move.

I can feel myself gaining energy back, and I am feeling heaps better, I can finally move myself to the bathroom without being out of breath, but Charlie still isn’t here. I know that she saved my life, and I can’t believe that I let her give me a piggy back, that sure did take my pride.

I just want to know if she is ok because this kind of thing hasn’t happened to her before but it has happened to me countless times so I am use to it, but Charlie I know that she is going to take it different even if she was kidnapped she still had to take life’s to save mine and I know that it will take its toll on her in the end.

I was about to go and look for her when out of thin air Charlie showed up passed out, so without thinking twice I jumped out of my bed ignore the pain I still have so I can check if she is still alive. Please let her be alive I don’t think I can live without her, wait no I know that I can’t live without her she is my life my reason for living.

Putting my fingers on her neck to check that she has a pulse and to my delight I could feel a faint one, so not wasting a second I yelled demanding a doctor to come and check out my Tiny that amazing strong fiery woman that saved me and my Dad without a second thought.

Looking down at her I noticed how pale she is, it’s like her soul has been almost sucked out of her, but I know how strong she is, and I couldn’t be more happier then when she stood up to her Uncle I swear that even now I am still in shock from what happened.

Not only did the doctor come running into the room but so did my Parents and all of our friends, I didn’t realise I was crying until dad put his hand on my shoulder in a way of telling me to let her go so the Doctor can do his work. Please let her be ok, I have so many things to show her and things I have always wanted to do with my mate.

“Come on Son we need to give the Doctor some room so he can do his work, how about we get something to eat and I am sure by the time we are done the Doctor will be finished” my dad said while basically dragging me out of the room with everyone else following behind, everyone but the person I want to eat with.

When we walked into the eating hall, I saw that the cooks have cooked up a fest for use, and they had all my favourites sitting on the tables ready for me to eat, but I don’t feel like eating it wouldn’t be the same because after eating with Charlie it became more than a meal.

My mother must have noticed that but just from one of her looks it had me picking up my fork making myself eat because I am not in the mood for a lecture from my Mum. Once I eat enough to satisfy my mum I put my fork down listening to everyone talking about god knows what, then for the first time I noticed that my cousin Gamer is here. Man I have missed him we use to get in a lot of trouble together since he has basically lived here his whole life.

“Hey man how have you been? I haven’t seen you in ages, but I see someone has finally been able to get a hit on you.”I said with a small laugh even though it felt fake, man I sound like a chick since when did I worry about Charlie so much? I know that she is tough but she is also very fragile. I decided that I don’t care how much I sound like a chick I am not going to try and hide it everyone is going to know that she is my life.

“Yeah laugh it up Alex and as for who got a hit on me well you should ask your Mate about that since she is the one that done it. Let’s just say that will be the last time I ever say she hits like a girl.” Once he finished I couldn’t help but laugh a real laugh just trying to imagine my Tiny doing that to some over grown Dragon.
