Chapter seven- I have to run

Charlies POV

After my nightmare last night I couldn’t help but be on edge; I need to get back to uni and far away from this town. I know his back I just know, he always comes back when I think that nothing can get to me, that I am safe from his judgemental personality that seeps into his soul.

I thought that he had left since Tommy threatened him but I guess that he somehow found out that he died and now his came back but little does he know that I am stronger then I was before he left. I am not going to let him bully his way into my life. Not again!

As quickly as I could I packed my bags before running to my car, I am so happy that I filled it up yesterday morning because now I don’t have to stop in town I can just go straight through and that way there is a chance he won’t see me.

I didn’t even give myself time to change my clothes because I knew that I won’t stop panicking until I am at least on the outside of this town. I don’t want to see him I just can’t.

Once I was outside of town I let out a big breath and turned on my music, while I lost myself in thought of all the stuff that happened with Alex and everyone. I need to figure out how they are different.

First thing first through I need to make sure that he doesn’t find me.

I was busy singing along to the radio that it took me a second to see someone standing on the side of the road with bags beside him. As I got closer I realised that I knew who it was but why is Alex hitch hiking?

I wanted to keep diving but if I did that I know I well regret it plus it would be a good chance to get know him better and that’s not such a bad thing right?

I pulled over and signalled for him to jump in; I didn’t want to be on the side of the road to long just in case my worst nightmare was following me.

“Hey thanks for picking me up; I got into a bit of a fight with my drive home “Alex said with chuckle that sent shivers down my spine.

“No problem.”

He saved me who would have guessed.Where stories live. Discover now
