Charlie’s POV

Alex and I have been on the road for a couple of days now and I have to say I hate sleeping in a car! I feel like I have been sleeping in a cubit with my toes tickling my ears all because of Alex. He wouldn’t let us stay in a hotel because he said that that would make it easier for my Uncle to find us.

So I am tired and angry while the big goof ball thinks it’s funny, and loves to find ways to get a reaction out of me. He also is driving my car because he apparently knows a place that we can stay for a couple of days. 

I swear that if we aren’t there soon, I am going to end up eating my jumper, no joke that’s how hungry I am. I haven’t eaten enough food; it feels like I am on a diet and that I am going to waste away from lack of fatty food or should I say food that tastes good!

I can tell you that the apples that we have picked of peoples trees isn’t enough to keep me full or to keep my energy up, I swear if I don’t see or eat another apple for a very long time I’ll be happy. Plus the sad thing is I use to love apples but now I can say that I don’t anymore.

“How much longer until we get to your friends house”? I had to ask because I’m not only hungry but I also need to pee really badly.

“About five to ten minutes” he said with a chuckle that would usually send a pleasant shiver down my spine but right now it’s getting on my nerves.

Choosing to ignore him I decided to day dream about a big hamburger with extra cheese and chips on the side. Oh what I wouldn’t do for something as yummy as a hamburger, or even some chips with gravy.

I was so busy day dreaming about my next proper meal that I didn’t notice that we stopped until Alex shoved my shoulder, making my day dream stop just before I was about to bite in to the yummy food.

“Why the hell do you shove me Alex”?! I said with a glare.

“Because you weren’t listening to me we have been here for like five minute.” I just gave him a glare while hopping out of the car and marching to the front door, it wasn’t until the door opened that I was embarrassed by what I did.

The door opened to show someone that was almost as hot as Alex and here I am standing in the same clothes looking like I just walked out of a horror movie. I looked behind me to see Alex standing next to my car.

I didn’t think twice before bolting down the stairs and running to hide behind Alex the best I could. Now I know what lack of food does to me, it makes me do things without thinking. I can’t believe I just did that. Laughing brought me out of my thoughts but I couldn’t stop the bright red blush from showing up on my face.

“So Alex is this the pretty little lady you told me about”? The guy from the door called with a laugh.

“Yeah Don this is Charlie” He said with a smirk, that I just want to just want to take off his face.

I was about to say something but I realised that he need to pee like right now! I tapped on Alex’s shoulder, which made him look at me with a raised eyebrow. Great! I can’t believe that I have to tell him I have to go to the bathroom like a little kid.

“I need to use the bathroom “I whispered while looking down in hope that the guy at the door wouldn’t hear. I don’t think my day can get any worse first I knock on someone’s door like they are my best friend, then I run away like a mad women.

I looked up at Alex’s face and saw that he was trying not to laugh and that made my shyness just disappear.

“Are you going to show me where the bathroom is or are you going to just stand there looking at me holding your breath until your blue in the face” I snapped.
