Alex’s POV

I couldn’t help but be smug because I knew that my Tiny could eat and Dom didn’t believe me. Not they he minds a girl that can eat his just not use to not winning. Plus I love the fact that Tiny can eat I know that my parents would love her for that fact alone.

While all three of my best friends were giving me the money that I won, I got this uneasy feeling in my stomach which made me look over to see if Tiny was ok but when I saw that she wasn’t there I couldn’t help but freak out.

I followed her sent to the front door, and saw her jumping in her car. Where the hell does she think she is going?! Her crazy ass Uncle is out there looking for her and she decides to go for a joy ride.

I banged on her window making her jump in her seat, I could feel Alec my dragon demanding to take over but I know better than to let him because he would make her scared of us before we have a chance to make her trust us.

Before she could even think about driving away I opened the door but when I saw her face and saw her tear full eyes I couldn’t help but be confused. She looked like she was having a good time and she seemed to get along with my friends great.

“Where are you going Tiny?” I demanded in a soft voice because I didn’t want her to be afraid of me.

“I don’t belong here, I am better off alone.” Ok I really wish she wouldn’t beat around the bush I love how she just says what she thinks no matter what.

“I need you to get to the point Tiny.”

“Ok ill get to the point real fast pal, I am not here for your entertainment, yeah I might eat heaps or seem un-lady like but I am who I am and I am not going to change for anyone! Not even you! I would rather be alone then have people pretend to be my friends.” Tiny hissed at me and the guys who are standing beside me with their mouths hanging opened.

I have Alec screaming in my head with anger because our mate wants to leave us, plus not to mention she doesn’t even trust us a little. I was about to pull her out of the car and into the house before she does something stupid.

Before I could grab her I was pulled away by London and Lake towards the house. I roared in anger at them for taking me away from my mate. I tried to break free but they are using all the dragon strength put together.

Charlie’s POV

I know I wasn’t seeing things because I saw his frigging eyes change right in front of my very own. He looked like something had taken over his body. Plus he asked for the truth, I was about to start my car but I realised that the keys weren’t in it.

Looking up I saw that Dom was holding them in his hand with a smug grin on his face, which made me let out a huff in anger. It didn’t take long for his smug look to turn into a serious expression. Why does everything in my life have to be so fucked up?

“I know that I have only known you for a day but I can tell that Alex really cares about you. Plus my brothers and I really would like to be your friends even if it is hard to believe. Even if you think that we were pretending we weren’t. Your our friend even if we not yours” Dom said before he walked away after throwing my keys at me.

Man I am stupid, I don’t know what I was thinking! I am not usually one to over think things or react like a drama queen. I just don’t want to get hurt so I put up a protective bubble around me. I just realised that I am being a coward and that’s one thing I refuse to be ever again. Now I just have to think of a way to make it up to them because I really want to have them as friends.
