Entering the G.M.G

Krista's p.o.v.
    We settled into a hotel called Drago Devil. It was quite a nice place even if the name begs to differ yet right now we're trying to figure out what we should if we don't get into the games.
"For the last time we are not gonna destroy the Coliseum!" Felix yelled
"Come on." Midnight complained
"You know that it'll cause a panic if we do something like that. Besides if we don't get into the games than we'll just steal it like how we had to steal on some of our requests." Rikki stated.
    Just as Rikki finished saying that the whole building started to shake. We all went to the balcony to see that the building and many others were rising.
    When it stops we were 120ft from the ground then a stair case appear in front of the balcony which connected to the huge labyrinth that was in the air. It seems that all the staircases connect to it as well but the people stayed where they were. A voice came out of no where which made me look away from the competitors from the other hotels.
" Hello and welcome to the Grand Magic Games! Let's start off to see who will the top 8 will be! But first it's time for the elimination round which will be decided on who gets through the Illusion Labyrinth! Not to mention we not only have guilds competiting but duos, trios. Now without further ado let the elimination round BEGIN!"
    And with that a loud bang went off and everyone sprinted forward to get to the labyrinth as fast as they could. We entered the labyrinth immediately after we reached the end of the staircase. Felix and Rikki tried to fly high above the labyrinth but a red barrier prevented them from doing so. As we went deeper screams were heard all over the place. We kept at our pace until I heard I click behind me, I saw Midnight begin falling into a trapdoor but I grabbed her arm and pulled her so that she didn't go down. I looked over the edge into the pitfall to see sharp spikes at the bottom.
'Oh isn't that going to far?' I thought as I looked at them before I was pulled away by Midnight and proceeded to find the exit.
We made it to a two door decision; one door was blue and the other door was black. Yet with the two door was a riddle.

I'm one who is darkness
You are somehow the light
You keep the monsters away

We balance yet don't

I wouldn't have any other way

Midnight and I tried to figure it out but couldn't think of anything until we heard both Felix and Rikki cry out. Rikki was pushing me suddenly while Felix was doing the same to Midnight; they stopped once we were in facing the other. They looked at each other then at us before laughing which made the both of us give them a questioning look.
"Don't tell me you don't see it Kai?! The answer to the riddle is somewhat simple yet they tried to make it difficult."
"What exactly are you getting at Rikki?"
"All he means is that you and Midnight are the answer!" Felix exclaimed.
"Huh?! How the hell are we the answer?" Midnight was as confused as I was.
"We'll just look at each other," both exceed said so we did, "Even though both of you are 'lights', Krista always had a bright personality that attract people making them smile even when they're having a bad day. While Midnight could be seen as Darkness since she doesn't like to really show effection to others, she still finds her own way to comfort them."
Both of our eyes seem to widen as they continued telling us why.
"You both rely on each other and support one another since the very beginning and you guys are always having each others backs. And even if you guys fight and say you hate each other you always try to do what's best for the other. That's why you two are the answer to the riddle!" Rikki finished off what Felix said.
Midnight and I knocked our foreheads together and started to laugh with grins on our faces. I opened my crystal blue eyes to stare right into a crimson red and we mirrored the same smirk as we looked at the two doors.
"You think it's..." I nodded and rushed forward to the space in between the two doors the Midnight right beside me followed by our exceeds. We crashed through the middle and a bright light blinded is for a second before clearing as we find ourselves standing in a dark brick hallway with only a light in front of us.
We reached to were the light is only to be blinded by the Suns light and for are ears to be filled with screaming fans . We looked around to find that we were in the coliseum along with 7 other groups.

"That's it the 8th group has finally arrived."
With that one line we finally realized that we made it into the G.M.G.
