Goodbye Past

      Once back inside the estate, Mina began to show them where everyone else was. Everyone had gathered where the sky had turned dark and a lot of Sakura trees were lined up making a pathway and lanterns hung from the branches. It made a pathway underneath as petals fell along the path. Bel stood in front of the path with his back towards it, looking on as both Sabers and FairyTail say goodbye to one of the two that were leaving.
Midnight had everyone gathered around her as they said goodbye. Some patted her back ruffled her hair, hugged her, and shook hands with some of them. When saying bye to her parents, Gajeel ruffled her hair roughly making her hair a mess as he laughed. Rogue simply put a hand on her head and pushed both of their foreheads together before pulling back. Levy hugged her tightly, not wanting to let go. She grabbed hold of both sides of her face before bringing her down to land a kiss on her forehead as tears cascaded down her face. Even Midnight had tears running down hers as she made her way to Bel.
"You done saying your goodbyes?" Bel asks.
"What do you think!? You know I hate all this feeling crap." Midnight stated as a light blush bloomed across her face.
"So any idea where Kano is?"
"Most likely, she's coming right..." Midnight says
"Hey!" Krista waves her hand as she, Lucy, Laxus, Sting and Natsu approached the rest of them. Everyone then said goodbyes to Krista as well and the master kept on crying since both girls were leaving.
Just like Midnight, Krista was given hair ruffles, huffed her, patting her on her back and giving her hugs. Krista even gave people high-fives as she went around saying goodbye. Now all she had left to do was say goodbye to her parents. Natsu patted her back hard which for a goodbye ended up with him getting a kick in the gut and a glare. Laxus looked at her before placing a hand on her cheek and rubbing it gently. Krista leaned into the hand and giggled as she felt jolts of electricity through the hand. Sting grinned as he ruffled Krista's hair making it a mess. He laughed but stopped when Krista tried to do it to him. They both laugh before Krista had to say her one last goodbye.
     Lucy looked at Krista with tears brimming her eyes. Krista looked at her but not touching. With no response from her mother, she began to walk past her, shocking everyone, especially Lucy.
"So you ready?" Bel asks
"Yeah, I've been waiting to get home anyway. Mom's probably worried right now." Krista says casually.
      Her words made everything stop. Lucy knew it wasn't her she was talking about. It was the person who had raised her future little girl. The one that Krista recognized as her mom, not her. It hurt but it was relieving that Krista would grow up so strong. As long as she was smiling, it felt like everything was gonna be okay.
"Alright I'll get it ready. I'll tell you when to go." Bel explained before he started muttering. Both girls nodded in understanding. They then started to talk like no one but them were there. It was then that Lucy spoke up.
"Krista..."
"Hmm?" Krista looked over at Lucy wondering what she wanted.
"Krista, I want to say that I wish you the best of luck," Krista eyes widened but only Midnight noticed,"you have proven you're a strong, capable girl who'll keep growing with each passing challenge that you come to face. One day I know that you'll rise far above everyone else. I'm so glad to have meet you, little star."
       Once Lucy was finished, Krista didn't say anything as she turned away from her. Bel then yelled that everything was ready to go and that they can leave anytime they want now. They started to walk off but before they walked down the path Krista stopped and looked back with a playful smirk on her face.
"I'm gonna break through all the walls that get in my way! So I hope to meet ya again after all you were the one I admired the most."
     Lucy looked shocked as she looked at Krista. She was who she admired the most? She watched as Midnight glared at her as she yelled at her. For some reason, for a split second Lucy thought she saw her with blonde hair instead of red.  It reminded her of Sting and Laxus. Krista had Sting silliness, Natsu's enthusiasm and Laxus seriousness. She was also cocky and somewhat arrogant like them. 
"Come on we got to go." Midnight said to Krista.
"Yeah okay," Krista turned back and raised her hand up to do a familiar sign," I hope we meet again someday soon!"
      With that Krista took off down the pathway, the lanterns lit the pathway giving it a nice calm feeling. That petals fell from the trees as they caught sight of the bright light at the end of the pathway.
"First one to the way back home, gets to have the loser do one embarrassing thing?" Krista asks Midnight.
"You're on!" Midnight smirked as they raced down the path but as they were enveloped by a bright light from the portal back home everything went black.
      Meanwhile back at the entry of the path, Bel began to explain to both FairyTail and Sabertooth what is gonna happen. He tells them that the memories that the two had with them would be erased once they reached their own world. He explains that memories of their time with the two have to be erased, many members protested. Time will reverse to the first day of the Games. No one will have any collection of the two until they meet them later on in life after they're born. Without hesitation, Bel erased all their memories of the two from both guilds minds.
