Bringing out the monsters of hell

"Midnight are you sure-?"
"Oh come on Rikki have a little faith in me would ya?"
"Last time you said that half of the guild ended up destroyed."
"This and that are way different! So now I'm gonna ignore you and deal with the idiots."
Midnight jingled the keys in her hand before she unhooked them. She tossed all 13 keys into the air and quickly slammed her hand into the ground sending magic into the drawn circle on the ground. It lit up it a fiery red and 12 keys went into different directions. One key hovered above Midnight as the red magic got brighter. Many of the members that were in the bar looked on as this happened, but all were startled when they saw her nails on her right hand sharpen and slashed her left palm open.
"Oi!?" Gray nervously said as Midnight's blood drips from her now bleeding hand.
"You don't have to worry after all this isn't the first time she had to do this." Rikki stated as he watched Midnight closely as she smeared her bloody palm against the floor making an 'X'. She stood up and put a single strip on her cheek then two on each of her wrists. She then put the symbol for 'Hell' on her right hand.

'Midnight are you really sure that you can handle it? Or will you lose control again?'

Midnight slammed her right hand on the 'X'. It lit up at the same time on impact and then the rest of the circle began to glow as well. She took her hand away from the 'X' before the hovering key embedded itself where her hand used to be. The other keys did the same and embedded themselves into the floor.
    A bright golden light glowed from the circle and gradually turned to a hellish red. With each key embedded into the floor a person appeared to take the keys place. All of them were guys that ranged from short, tall, muscles or no muscles. Some had similar hair colors while others did not.
    The middle key full out blasted a pillar of red as soon as the other 12 had appeared. When it died down, a white hair boy with a streak of red wearing a gold crown across his forehead appeared. His eyes closed and his tan skin unnerved.
Everyone felt tense as the light died down. The boys eyes opened to reveal piercing yellow eyes. They slightly moved to Midnight and glared at her.
"Where's Krista?"
"Stella got her, but we can get her back if... you are willing to get her back."
"She is the only mages that can handle us. I won't let anyone else have the privilege of killing her but me."
"Still merciless as ever huh, Ryuga?" Midnight sweat dropped at the response.
Ryuga eyes swept the crowd and settled on Lucy. He stared at her before looking in another direction.
"What exactly is your plan?"
"Simple you guys need to compete in the games with the Sabers, Fairies, and the other guilds so that me and few others hunt Stella."
"And who exactly is joining you in your escapade?"
"Me, You, Grimmjow, Hiei, and Cayden." Ryuga thought it over and nods in approval. Lucy was about to say something but Ryuga knowing her stopped her. His yellow eyes made her stop on fright paralyzing her in place.
"As for the rest of you I can't allow you to help us anymore than you already have. You must continue the games while we handle our situation."
    No one likes the idea and began to protest. The master of both guilds were quiet, Sting was frustrated that they hadn't wanted any outside help. This was his daughter they had been talking about saving and they didn't want anyone involved. He understood somewhat the reason, Krista reminded him of Lucy. She didn't want to be the one to cause everyone to worry for her, except they did.
"Okay," Sting suddenly declared which had some members of both guilds shocked,"but one member from both of our guilds will come with."
"And which would those be?" Ryuga butted in.
"I'm sending Yukino, and you old timer?"
"Hmm...Gray will go."
There was a lot of protests coming from both guilds especially from Natsu since he wanted to go and kick Stella's butt for what she did.
"Enough! That's my final decision and that's it! I will not let any one of Midnight's or Krista's parents go with. You need to accept the fact first that they are your daughter so by the time this is done and Krista is back we will fight with all we can." Makarov announced. With that everyone yelling in agreement from both guilds.
"Damn, ma wasn't kidding when she said to stay clear when your angry." Midnight let out a weak laugh as she backed behind one of the other spirits, Kyoya.
"Alright now that this pointless conversation is over we will take our leave right now," Ryuga turns to Midnight glaring at the girl," so remember what happened the last time and make sure it doesn't happen again."
"Yeah yeah I know." With that all the spirits vanish and the keys end up in Midnight's hands which she hooks to her waist.
"And that's how to make a temporary contract. Pain in the ass, but it'll have to do since I can't use my dragon slayer ability for the next couple of days."
"How come you can't use your Slayer abilities?" Droy asked
"It's because I used my dragon form, which takes a lot a magic from the person and it takes a while to recover it that's why it's mostly a last resort that the dragon slayers at our guild uses."
"This has been bothering Juvia for a while but what exactly did Stella mean back at the arena?" Juvia asks.
"Arena?..."

flashback to the arena

"Hahaha! You still haven't told them but then again it could bring forth consequences so I guess I can't say I blame ya."
"Stella." Midnight growls out.
"Now now don't be like that Midnight after all the next guild master should always have a cool head."

End FlashBack

"Oh, you mean me being the next guild master? Well she wasn't lying, me and Kai were supposed to inherit it when we turn 21 or so." Midnight shrugged as if it wasn't a big deal.
"You make it sound as if this isn't a big deal?"
"That's because it isn't, it gets pretty old when after a while so now it's just annoying to hear. Anyway I'm heading to bed we have a busy day tomorrow so I suggest you do the same." Midnight walked up the stairs and entered both her and Krista's room. She flopped on her bed and looked over at Krista's to be greeted with a empty cold bed.
"Don't worry Kai, I'll make sure to get you back home. I'll make Stella pay just wait."
    Midnight didn't take notice that someone overheard her. They were outside the door peering in through the crack when they heard her. Sadness filled their eyes as they walked away knowing that they shouldn't talk right now. Tomorrow would indeed be busy.
