Midnight's slip up part 2

Midnight's p.o.v.
I sighed as the rest of my metal skin finally disappeared. I had entered our section and saw Laxus and Krista talking( Kai is her nickname like how she uses 'Night for me). Laxus kept rolling his eyes until he smirk and leaned down to whisper something in her eye which made her go red while he was hit to the back wall, making a indent in it.
"Did I miss anything?" I asked as I stood by her looking outward.
"Nothing yet, so you made it in time." I nodded as i looked on at the field. Just waiting for something to happen and then the pumpkin head appeared to explain what was going on today.
"Welcome, to the 3rd day everyone! Now let's proceed to the next challenge, shall we? Today the game is King of the Hill. But it's going to be a one on one battle between two guilds. So let's shuffle up and see who faces who!"

     I looked over at Krista to see a small grin while Laxus was full out laughing. The exceeds were shocked and I couldn't help but get excited as well.
    I saw the other teams getting pumped up yet I looked over at our opponent to see all glaring at us or namely Krista.
'They're probably still mad at her for what she did to Lu-oba.'
"So who's gonna go," Laxus looked excited so before he could say anything I cut him off, " don't even think about it Laxus. You aren't even a official member so you can't really participate."
    Laxus now looked like a kicked puppy but i ignored him for Krista. But found her gone.
"If ya looking for Kai she jumped down while you were talking."
"Geez and now she has to face the old man great." I said as I caught sight of my dad in the stadium along with the other participants. The ground started to shake again and this time to reveal a crazy obstacle course.
"Oh did I forget to mention each battle will have a different setting. Well you all know now so let the first battle commence!"

    It went on like this for a while then the next match was Hibiki vs Reese (pic at the top), Toby vs Beth, and then came to the last one.

Gajeel Redfox vs Krista Chaos

Even though I wish it wasn't true I had to face it. Kai was either gonna make a fool of herself or make fun of her opponent. I really can't think of a good outcome that would come from this.
