Chapter 18

Skylar POV

“I still can’t believe you are like this” Harry says as we sit on a rock in the lake.

“I know its hard to believe that this happened. I hope some day it will go away so we can..” I say then stop. I don’t want Harry to get scared of the thought of children.

“We can what Sky?” Harry asks as he lifts my chin up.

“Have kids one day” I reply as I look back down at my tail. Once again he lifts my chin up and kisses me on the lips.

“I have been thinking about that for awhile as well. I know that we have only been dating for about two months but I love you Skylar” Harry says and I kiss him again.

“I love you too” I reply and we kiss again.

“Hey love birds” Emma says as she swims up to us and Harry breaks the kiss.

“Hey Em” I reply as Harry jumps in the water so Emma can sit with me on the rock.

“Harry seems to like you as a mermaid.”

“I know, it’s actually very funny. I thought we would have freaked out, but he didn’t. I actually told him about what we talked about when I found out I was a mermaid” I say and Emma nods her head before she speaks.

“I know that you want a baby with Harry but we need to find out more about our new bodies. What happens if you get wet when you give birth?” Emma asks and she has a good point. That would be bad, people would see us.

“Sky! SKYLAR!” I hear Harry’s voice and I open my eyes.

“Where am I?” I ask as I sit up. I am in my hotel room.

“You are in New York, you missed our performance. You were sleeping so I left you here, and Niall understood” Harry replies.

“I thought I was at a lake and I had a tail” I say and Harry looks at me very confused.

“What are you talking about Skylar?”

“When I get wet I turn into a mermaid.”

“Skylar you are scaring me” Harry says and I take my knees to my chest and start to cry.

“Shh Sky, its alright. I don’t know what happened. It was just a dream” Harry says as he pulls me in his chest and I’m still crying.

“Skylar?” I hear my brothers voice from what sounds like the door.

“Yeah Niall, she must have had a bad dream” Harry tells Niall. I hear him walk over to the bed.   

“Sky please tell me what is going on?” Niall asks and I sit up from Harry’s lap.

“Well I went for a midnight swim in the hotels pool. It was a full moon and it was reflection into the water. I jumped in and swam around for about ten minutes before I got out. The next day I took a shower and I fell to the ground with a tail. Emma did the same thing earlier that day and she also had a tail. Then we went swimming and I told all of you” I say and Niall’s eyes are wide.

“That is one crazy dream” He finally speaks.

“Yeah I don’t know if it was a dream” I reply as I look into my brothers eyes.

“Did she hit her head on anything before she fell asleep?” Niall asks Harry and he shakes his head.

“Well why don’t you try and fall back asleep” Niall says as he walks out of the room. I put my head on Harry’s chest and I fall back asleep quickly.

“Morning Sky” Harry’s deep raspy morning voice says and he kisses my nose. I open my eyes and smile back at him.

“Morning Haz” I reply as I sit up.

“How are you feeling?”

“I don’t know how I should feel. It felt all too real like this is the dream” I reply as I get up from the bed and put my hair in a messy bun.

“Do you remember the night?” I ask as it comes back to my mind. The night that I had sex with Harry. That felt way to real to be a dream.

“What night?”

“The night... that I lost it” I reply and he gets up from his bed and pulls me into a hug.

“I’m sorry Sky, but that never happened well at least so far. If you want we can make that happen” Harry says and I smile. He picks me up and puts me on the bed with him on top of me.

“Remember we have to be quiet” Harry says and I crash my lips onto his.

“That was amazing, better than what I imagined” I say as I put my head on his chest.

“That was the best” Harry replies as he moves his hair away from my face.

“We better get up before Niall or any of the lads come in here” I say as I get up and put my clothes back on.

“Skylar can I come in?” I hear my brother as from the other side of the door. I look at Harry who already has his boxers on.

“Yeah” I reply and Niall walks in.

“How are you feeling?”

“Much better” I reply as I put my hair in the messy bun once again.

“We have some pancakes if you want some” Niall says and I run out of the bedroom and into the kitchen area where sure enough there is pancakes on the table. I take on and then I walk over to the couch.
