Chapter 15

Skylar’s POV

I open my eyes and look at the clock... 1:36. I moan a little bit as I sit up and look at Harry who is peacefully sleeping. I get up and have a sudden urge to go swimming. I grab my bikini from my suitcase and walk into the bathroom so I can get changed. I know that they don’t allow people in the pool this late at night... or in this case so early in the morning. I walk back out of the bathroom to find Harry still sound asleep. I walk out of our bedroom and out the main door of the suite. I walk a couple of feet before I get to the elevator and hit the button for the level with the pool.

After a minute I arrive at the floor. I walk out of the elevator and put my key in the lock and the door for the pool entrance opens. Wow these usually don’t allow people in after the time the pool closes. I walk in to see a full moon reflecting in the pool. I take off my shirt and shorts to reveal my bikini. I walk over to the deep end and jump in. The water engulfs my body, I come back up to the surface and brush my hair out of my face. I swim for about ten more minutes before I get out and wrap the towel around my body.

“Sky you need to wake up” A deep raspy voice says and I open my eyes to see Harry looking right at me.

“Morning love” He says as he kisses my nose.

“Morning” I reply.

“Why do you smell like the pool?”

“I may or may not have went for a midnight swim last night” I reply.

“Ohh we got a bad girl in the house!” Harry says and I play punch him.

“Stop it seriously” I reply as I get up from the bed and walk into the bathroom. I get out of my pajamas and into the warm shower. The next thing I know I am sitting on the ground... with a tail!

“No... no this can’t be happening!”

“Sky what’s wrong?” Harry asks. Shit I must have said that out loud.

“Nothing, don’t worry about it” I reply and then feel the new extension to my body. How did this happen? How can this be real? Is this permanent? I have so many questions running through my head. I grab the towel that is on the side of the shower. I dry off my tail first then my arms and chest. I look down to find I have a clamshell bra on me. This can’t be happening!?

Within three minutes of my tail being dry my legs return. I move them to make sure that they are really there. I stand up and wrap the towel around my body.

“You alright Sky?” Harry asks me as she puts on one of his shirts and I simply nod back. I put on a pair of Hollister jeans, and a Guns N Roses shirt. I walk out of my bedroom and into the main living space of the suite.

“Hey Sky, how did you sleep?” Emma asks and I shrug. I really don’t know how to answer any of these questions after what happened to me. The one thing that I know is I have to get near water again to test to see if my tail will come back.

“Morning Skylar” Niall says as he walks into the kitchen, typical Niall.

“Morning” I reply very simply.

“Is something wrong?”

“Nope” I reply as I take an apple and walk out the door. I have to go test it now.

Since it is May I know that the water is not going to be so cold. I take a taxi to the beach. I take off my clothes and leave my bikini once more. I jump in and sure enough the tail is back. I try to swim but it is hard. I really need to learn how to swim.

After a few minutes I get the hang of it. I love the fact that I can hold my breath for a long time.
