Chapter 31

Skylar’s POV

1 Month Later

“Em, how am I going to tell Harry that I have to go back to Ireland?” I ask Emma as I book my plane tickets in two days.

“Just tell him Sky, he will understand” Emma replies as I close my laptop.

“Tell me what?” Harry asks as he walks down the hallway from the hotel room that we share.

“I need to go back to Ireland for my next ultrasound and I don’t think that I am going to come back on tour” I say and then look down at the ground. I know how much that he wants to come with me, but he needs to be here on tour.

“Come here, I understand that you have to go back. You know that I would do anything to go with you. Just promise me that you will text me whenever you get the chance and tell me everything that is going on with baby Styles. How you are feeling, what is happening” Harry replies as I get up from the couch and hug him.

“I will, my flight is in two days. When do you have a break to come visit?”

“I have a weekend break next month. I promise that I will come and visit. Is Emma going with you?”

“Do you want to go with me Em?” I turn away from Harry and look at Emma and she smiles.

“I would love too, but I want to stay with Louis. I know that you need me more than Louis does” Emma replies and I hug her.

“Well looks like she is, so I won’t be alone” I say as I hug Harry.

“I know and I feel better knowing that Emma will be with you. I know that Louis is going to want to come to Ireland to see you as well. How are you feeling now?” Harry asks me as we break apart from the hug.

“I feel better than I did now that you know I’m going back to Ireland. I was really nervous that you were going to get upset that I am leaving” I tell Harry as we both sit down on the hotel suite couch.

“Sky I could never be upset that you have to go to a doctors appointment. It is to check on how our baby is doing in there. Plus I don’t want you traveling with us much longer to keep you and our baby safe. If that is in Ireland than so be it, at least you will be safe and away from paparazzi. I know you want to wait before we tell Simon but I think now is the time. You are now two months along and the fans deserve to know.”

“You're right, we have kept this from them long enough. You can call Simon and tell him. Emma and I are going to go to the mall to look for some new clothes that will fit. Just call or text me if you need anything.” I tell Harry as I get up from the couch and so does Emma. I kiss Harry on the lips and we start to walk out of the suite.

“I can’t believe you are ten weeks! In eight more you can find out if baby Styles is a boy or a girl! I think it is a girl!” Emma screams as we walk down the hallway towards the elevator.

“I know it is so exciting. Sometimes I look in the mirror and look at the bump. It is just so surreal to me” I reply to Emma as I call the elevator up to the top floor where our suite is.

“Sky! We should take pictures like very few weeks to see how much baby Styles is growing. It will be like a keepsake when the baby gets older so you and Harry can look back at the whole pregnancy” Emma suggests and I smile.

“That is a great idea. We can do that when we get back. I know Harry would like that very much” I reply to Emma as the elevator goes down to the lobby.

“So what store do you want to go into?”

“I really want to go get more jeans in American Eagle. I love the pairs that I have now, and I know that I will love them as I get bigger” I reply to Emma as the elevator stops at the lobby. The elevator doors open and Emma and I walk out. We continue walking out the lobby door to where the limo is waiting for us. We get into the limo and the driver heads to the mall.

“This weather is crazy” Emma says as she turns up the air conditioning.

“Em, we are in Austin, Texas of course it is going to be hot” I reply and we both laugh.

“That is true, but this is too hot for my taste.”

“I agree with you there. I loved the temperature in Boston. It was not too hot and not too cold” I reply.

“Do you think these are going to fit later?” I ask Emma as I walk out of the dressing room in American Eagle.

“Yes Sky, they will and I think you should get some jean shorts that will fit as well, since you will be traveling for a while” Emma replies and I walk back in the dressing room. I throw the three pairs of jeans that I will wear when I get bigger over the stall door.

“Here are shorts in the same size. They are the same material as the jeans” Emma says as she hands me a few pairs of the shorts. I put a pair on and they feel the exact same as the jeans.

“I love them, put all these in the pile that I’m going to buy” I tell Emma as I hand them to her and put on my pair of jean shorts before I walk out of the dressing room.

“Well I think we made out of shorts and jeans. I think we should head back now and take that picture” Emma says as we walk out of the dressing room and into the main store.

“How did the shopping trip go?” Louis asks as soon as we walk into the suite door.

“It went terrible” I reply as I show him the many bags that we both bought.

“Come on Sky, we have that thing” Emma says as she winks at me. We walk past Louis into Harry and my bedroom. WE walk in and Harry is not in there. Emma locks the door behind us. I take off my shirt so I’m just in my sports bra and put on a pair of my old jeans so my belly shows better.

“While you were in the dressing room I made you a sign” Emma says as she hands it to me and takes her phone out of her pockets. I look at the sign ‘10 Weeks’.

“Its perfect Em” I say as I hug her than walk back to my place by the door.

“Harry is so going to love this” Emma says as she takes a few more pictures. Then I put my shirt back on.

“Come on, lets go get the lads ready for their next concert” Emma says and we both walk out of the bedroom.
