Chapter 41

Skylar’s POV

The Next Day

“Emma did the picture print out yet?” I call to Emma who is in the computer room trying to print out the latest picture of Lyric.

“I’m working on it Skylar. I had to change the ink, it ran out” Emma replies as I poke my bump and after I do I get a nudge back.

“Lyric did you just kick mommy?” I ask as I rub the spot where the nudge happened and sure enough she kicks again.

“HARRY!!” I yell and Emma is the first one to my side since she is from the other room.

“SKYLAR WHATS WRONG?” Emma asks. No sooner does she do that Harry appears.

“SKYLAR ARE YOU OK? IS LYRIC OK? WHATS GOING ON?” Harry asks as he takes my hand. I take his hand and put it on the spot where she kicked a minute before.

“Skylar what are you..”

“Shh” I tell Harry and she shuts up. No sooner as I do I feel her kick again and I smile. I look up at Harry who is also smiling.

“Did she just kick?” Harry asks and I smile then nod. “MY DAUGHTER JUST KICKED!”

“When did she start?” Emma asks.

“Just a minute ago, I poked right here and she kicked the same spot. That is why I called you over here” I say when Niall and Louis walk in the door with the pizza.

“LYRIC KICKED!” Emma screams and Louis runs in.

“She kicked?” Louis asks and I take his hand and put it next to where Harry’s is.

“Just wait, she will kick again” I reply to Louis, no sooner do I say it she nudges the same spot that she did before.

“Your right Sky” Louis says with a smile.

“She is in me so I think I would know if she kicks or not. Where is Niall?”

“I’m in the kitchen with the pizza” I hear my brother reply.

“Well come here Niall, Lyric is kicking.” I say and I hear Niall walk over to the living room.

“She is kicking, where?” Niall asks as he walks over to the couch. Louis takes his hand off and I take Niall’s hand then I put it on the same spot where Louis’s was.

“She is kicking! My niece is kicking!” Niall screams and I laugh.

“I think my girlfriend needs a break from everyone surrounding her. How about we have some pizza yeah?” Harry says as he gets up from next to me and walks into the kitchen.

“Sky how many pieces do you want?” Harry asks as Niall, Emma and Louis walk into the kitchen to get their slices.

“One for now would be great” I reply as I get up from the couch and walk into the kitchen.

“I wanted to get it for you” Harry says as he pouts and I laugh.

“I’m not that pregnant yet that I can’t get my own food. You have that to look forward too” I say as I walk past him and get my plate with the slice of pizza on it. Then I walk to the fridge and grab a can of lemonade.

“Sky where is the remote for the TV?” Emma asks clearly in the living room.

“Under the table remember you dropped it” I reply as I walk back into the room and sit on the couch where I was before.

“Found it” Emma says as she lifts the remote as if she won something.

“Good for you Em” Harry says as he walks into the room and kisses me on the cheek before he sits down next to me. I take a bite out of my pizza before I look down at the table and open my phone.

1 new text message from Gemma <3

From Gemma <3:

Hey Sky, how are you feeling? Has Lyric kicked yet?

“Who is it Sky?” Emma asks before she takes another bite from her pizza.

“It just Gemma checking up on me” I reply before I reply to Gemma.

To Gemma <3:

I’m well, Lyric kicked for the first time today. I am so happy that Harry, Niall and Louis were here for it!

I hit the send then I put my phone back on the table.

Harry’s POV

4 Hours later

“Haz I’m going to take a nap, I’m tired” Skylar says before she gets up from the couch and gives me a kiss on the lips.

“I will be up later. I’m going out to go get something with Louis and Niall. Can I take your car? Emma will be here if you need anything” I reply and she nods before she walks upstairs to her bedroom.

“Come on lets go” I say as I get up from the couch and take Skylar’s keys off the table. I turn around to see Niall and Louis behind me.

“Do you think she will like this one?” I ask Niall and Louis.

“That is the princess cut right?” Niall asks and I nod.

“She is going to love it Harry. That is so Skylar” Niall says and I nod.

“What do you think Louis?”

“Get that one, she is going to love it” Louis replies and I nod to the sales person and he takes the ring and puts it in a box. I take out my credit card and pay for it. I hope Skylar will love this ring.
