Kirstie POV

I, again, had no idea what to do. He was sitting right next to me with his sparkling green eyes and his perfect smile. He just told me that he talks about me and I'm just sitting here screaming internally.... happy screams. I wanted to tell him i like him but something held me back. I wasn't confident enough. Eventhough i had the haircut and all.... I still was afraid.

"Kirst.... Kirstie! I just asked you if you wanted to start the project. Are you up for it?" He said and pulled me back to reality. "Oh sorry. Yeah sure let's do it." I said with a smile. We started the project and surprisingly finished it in a few hours. About 2 or 3.

"WE ARE DONE." He screamed happily. "Yeah.... we're finished and it only took us..... 2 hours and 42 minutes to be precise." I told him. "Keeping track of time are we?" "Oh shut up!" I said jokingly. "We still have the choir assigment if you wanna do it now." "Yeah sure. I had some ideas about the song we could choose." I nodded. "I was thinking of doing Say Something since it's a duet and all." "Oh my gosh. Avi that's perfect." I said. "It's settled then. It's already a duet so we can just copy it. Are you okay with that Kirst?" "Of course." Okay.... it's stupid but.... i really like it when he calls me Kirst. I know a lot of people do but with him it's different.

I was fiddling the hem of my shirt when i looked at him and caught him staring at me. He quickly looked back at his laptop and turned redder than a baboon's butt. I hid my face and soon turned red aswell. "Erm... i uh... found the song." "Yeah, yeah... Let's um.... listen to it." He started the song and i got lost in the music. The song was so good.

When it ended we just talked about the parts which only took us about 5 minutes. When we were finished we decided to practice it. He started the music and i had th first part.

Avi POV

The song started and her part came.

"Say something I'm giving up on you
I'll be the one if you want me to

Her voice was angelic. She amazes me everytime she openes her mouth. She was just unbelievable.

"And i
Am feeling so small

She kept singing and i kept staring at the beauty infrount of me. She repeated the chorus and finished it. I almost forgot my part but started just in time but let's face it...... how can i top that.

Kirstie POV

I was almost done with the chorus and i seriously couldn't wait for Avi's solo. His voice was just amazing. It was so deep and beautiful. He started his solo and i melted on the inside.

"And i

With every word he sang he sent shivers down my spine. Then it was time for both of us to sing.

We finished the song and just stared at eachother for a few seconds untill i snapped out of my trance. "That was great. You nailed your solo.... it.... it was extremely beautiful." I told him. "Me?! Have you heard yourself. If i nailed it you killed it. You were ten times better than i was. You were amazing." He complemented me..... a lot. "We're amazing." I said. "Yeah..... we are."

It was about midnight and i decided to go to sleep eventhough we had the weekend. Our choir project was due on Monday and we decided to hand in our Biology project early. We had Saturday and Sunday to rehearse the song and also to go over the Bio notes. I was really nervous about the song because we were the last pair to sing. So..... big finish. And if i puke on stage it's gonna be a big finish alright! But i tried to keep positive thoughts.

During the weekend i mostly just did my reahearsing, homework and studying. I also helped Avi with his math. So i was kind of his tutor. The weekend soon passed and Monday came along...... and so was my bed head. Don't get me wrong....... i like school but.... its just too early in the day.

I got up and went to the bathroom to get changed and brush my teeth. I also brushed my hair and went to sit in my bed and read untill it was time for the first lesson, english. I started reading and soon after, Avi woke up. "Morning sleepy head!" I told him. "Morning sleeping beauty" he said as he got out of bed. Beauty..... is he serious. I decided let that one slide. It was probably just a meaningless comment since he just woke up.

He got up and went to the bathroom. After 10 minutes he was ready. "How did you do that?" I asked him. "Do what?" He asked. "Take a shower, brush your teeth, do your hair and get changed in just 10 minutes." "Oh.... you thought magic didn't exist..... well you're wrong. I'm a warlock." I just opened my mouth wide open and stared at him. After a few seconds of that we just started laughing. I left the dorm and went to class. The day went by pretty quickly and it was lunch time.

I sat next to Scömìche and just talked with them untill the bell rang. "Bye guys!" I waved at them. "Bye. Goodluck on your choir thing by the way." Said Mitch. "Thanks. See you later." And with that I left the cafeteria and went straight to the choir room. I sat in the corner and surprisingly Avi sat next to me. It was probably because we're partners and he had to sit there.  There were so many talented kids in this class that i felt like nothing.

It was our turn to sing. We got up and took our places. I was shaking and Avi noticed. He whispered "You can do this Kirst. I believe in you." And i smiled and nodded to tell him that i was ready. The music started..... Here we go.
