Chapter 2 : A Night To Remember

Caitlin opens the door of her flat. She keeps the packet of seven eleven on the dining table. It's only 7. She got 2 hours. Caitlin thought of taking a bubble bath. If it's gonna be a relaxing night then it will be. But first of all she needs to eat something. She takes out the frozen nuggets and fries from the freezer. And started to fry them. She couldn't stop thinking about Barry. There's like a bond between them from the first day. To be honest he reminds of Ronnie to her. She takes the food out of the fryer on a plate. Caitlin turned on the TV.

Barry was laying on his bed looking at the ceiling. Caitlin's words were in his mind. "Let your heart do what it's doing." Recently he's having a second thought about him and Iris. He wanders that if he still loves her like he did. His phone vibrated. There were 3 messages. One from Iris, one from his father and another from Caitlin. He checked his father's first, it says he's coming Central city tomorrow and wants to have lunch with Barry. Iris's one says she wants to have dinner at Sushi Palace. And there was Caitlin's message. He opened it curiously.
"Guess what? The fastest man alive is LATE!!! Barry it's 9:05 and u r still not here. "
Barry gets up quickly. It's 9:05 and he's not ready yet.
He got ready within a second. He was just about to head to Caitlin's but then he thought of something. He gets his bike's key and started his bike. After 15 minutes Barry was under Caitlin's house. Caitlin came out wearing a gorgeous dress.
Caitlin : Barry you are 20 minutes late. And aren't we suppose to run?
Barry wasn't paying that attention. He was looking at Caitlin. She looked gorgeous.
Barry : Uh-h, I thought to do it normally. Like we are taking break so same goes with my power. By the way you look beautiful.
Caitlin : Oh-h-h... Thanks. I kinda always dress like a high school principal.
Both of them laughs. Caitlin gets in the bike. She wraps her hand around his waist. Barry smiles by himself (Caitlin doesn't see obviously)
Barry : Thank you Caitlin.
Caitlin : For what?
Barry : For the advice. Iris and I are good now. We are having dinner tomorrow.
Caitlin : I'm glad everything's good.
Barry : You know you always make me feel so comfortable. You always give me the best advice and suggestion. Ronnie was really lucky yo get you.
Caitlin : Barry it's not luck. It's the understanding between two persons. I just help you to look things differently. Otherwise everything else you do is your decision.
Barry : That's what I was talking about.
There were silence for a while. Barry opens his mouth first.
Barry : You know.... I kinda like it. You and I spending....time. Alone.
Caitlin blushes.
Caitlin : Yeah me too. We should really grab some pizza together sometimes.
Barry : What? I wasn't serious tho.
Caitlin : OMG!!! Sorry I thought you...
Barry : Cait calm down. I'm joking again. Obviously I would love to grab pizza with you.
Caitlin blushes. Barry stopped the bike. Here it was, Club Lava. They enter the club. They could see others right in front.
Cisco : Hey look Barry and Caitlin are here.
By surprising both Barry and Caitlin, Oliver and Felicity comes out.
Caitlin : Oh my god! *hugs felicity* how? When did you guys...
Felicity : Oh yeah. Oliver thought that we need some alone time to spend. So we came to Central city to spend this weekend romantically. Don't worry we won't be knocking STAR lab's door.
Barry : This is amazing. So you guys knew we were coming?
Oliver : No just a coincidence.
Cisco : Guys. Hang on. I'm literally gonna ask the girl in the counter.
Felicity : The one who is wearing a red dress?
Jesse : She looks Italian. Caitlin : 70℅ chance she has a boyfriend.
Barry : I agree with Cait.
Cisco : Oh k let's see.
Cisco goes to the bar. Right after that a random handsome boy appears.
Boy to Jess : Hey I'm Mike, wanna dance?
Jesse looks toward Harry. He nod his head.
Jesse : Sure.
Oliver : Felicity. Dance?
Felicity: Yup.
Harrison, Barry and Caitlin were standing there with drinks in their hand as others were dancing.
Harrison : So after that Jesse was said her first words which were Boo-ba-boo!!!
Caitlin and Barry laughs. Barry looks at Caitlin by making sure she doesn't understand. He really wants to go to dance with her. There's something about Caitlin. He doesn't wanna lose any opportunity of him and her getting close. Suddenly another random person comes towards them. The man was good looking and muscular.
Man: Hey Miss. Can I have a minute to introduce myself? I'm Chris. I was noticing you for a long time. Would you like to dance with me?
Caitlin stammers. Barry get shocked. In his mind his voices were like i cant let this happen. Before even Caitlin can utter a word Barry speaks out angrily.
Barry : Sorry but she's with me. And WE are dancing.
Caitlin looks at Barry shocked. The man stands there awkwardly.
Man : I asked to the Miss not you Mister.
Barry : Hey why don't you understand. Get out of here. She's my girl!!!
The man leaves them immediately. Harrison was also standing awkwardly.
Caitlin : I never said we are gonna dance.
Barry : You don't even wanna dance with that Bris or whateva Cait?
Caitlin : But you were rude with him...
Barry : I thought I just can help you..
Caitlin : No but the thing is I could have said by myself.
Barry : Cait....umm sorry. I got angry because he dared to take you in dance.
Caitlin : *shyly* It is OK.
Barry : But I really wanna *blushes and rushes his hand through his hair* dance with you.
Harrison : Come on Snow. Allen is trying hard.*laughs*
Caitlin blushes.
Caitlin : O..K...Barry *smiles*
Both of them goes towards the dance floor. A Hip hop song was playing. They started to dance together. Barry keeps his hand on Caitlin's waist. Caitlin also keeps her hand on Barry's waist. After a while the music changes. This time it was a romantic song. All the pairs around them got close to each other. Barry takes Caitlin's right hand on his left hand and place his right hand on her waist. Caitlin keep his right hand on his shoulder. They started dancing slowly. Their eyes were stuck on each other. Barry smiles.
Barry : You are so adorable Cait.
Caitlin : Thanks Barry. You are also kinda gorgeous *flirting*
Barry : I'm kinda liking this...*looks on his right side kinda feeling shy* You and I....umm really close.
Caitlin : Same with me. I never thought a dance can feel like this.*still smiling*
Barry : I did so.
