Chapter 6 : Stay With Me

The whole building was dark.
Caitlin: The meta-human charges itself with electricity. He must have taken all of STAR lab's.
They steps forward. Everything was broken.
Barry : The must have had a big fight. Caitlin : You mean with Cisco?
Suddenly something hits Barry. He fells back. Caitlin runs towards him. "Don't move!" A voice commanded her. The voice was familiar. She looks back.
Caitlin : CISCO!
Cisco : Caitlin? Sorry...oh my god! Is it Barry.
Cisco comes to Barry. He was lying on the floor injured.
Cisco : Barry I'm sorry.....I thought you were Leonard!
Barry and Caitlin : What? Leonard?
Cisco : Yes he attacked STAR labs. I injured him but before I could catch, he flew.
Barry : But I thought he was dead....how?
Caitlin : Before anything we need to treat Barry. And immediately.
Cisco : Oops! I'm really sorry but while fighting we quite bro...ke your things Caitlin. I promise I'll fix all of STAR labs.
Caitlin : Cisco get the car. I need to take Barry in my house. I've things there.
Cisco : OK! *runs out*
Barry was suffering. He groans in pain.
Caitlin : *touches his face* you are gonna be alright Barry.

Caitlin and Cisco keeps Barry on the bed.
Cisco : Look I would be staying but you know my cousin's got an urgent delivery. Her husband is out of city and now Dante and Mom wants be there for her.
Caitlin : Its completely OK Cisco.
Cisco gets out of the house. Caitlin locks the door and gathers all necessary things. Then she starts to cure Barry. After about an hour she was done.
Barry : So what do you think?
Caitlin: You know you heal yourself so its not a big deal. But it's gonna hurt a lot. You can rest and sleep tonight. But I'm afraid whether you can still run....
Barry : Can you please call a taxi for me?
Caitlin : Oh please! You are too weak even to stand now. Look Barry you can stay here tonight. I will sleep on the couch.
Barry : Cait....
Caitlin : Barry please. Now you rest. I'm just gonna change and coming back and will bring you some food also.
Barry : *smiles* Thanks Cait.
After a while Caitlin comes wearing her pyjamas and a tray of food in her hand. She keeps the tray on the side table.
Caitlin : I called Felicity. They are gonna drop Iris to her house.
Barry : Thanks Cait.
Caitlin : Now look I know it will hurt a lot. You heal yourself but the pain is still real. But luckily it will last just tonight. So now eat these foods and sleep. You will be okay by tomorrow morning.
Barry tries to get up.
Caitlin : *stops him* oh I'm really sorry. You rest. I'm feeding you.
She takes the bowl of soup in her hand and takes a spoonful. Then she blows a little and puts it inside Barry's mouth. Barry's cheek turned red. This moment was feeling like something really awkward and loving. If he could just pause it forever. Every moment he spends with Caitlin, butterflies starts to fly inside his stomach. Caitlin smiles.
Caitlin : Barry....
Barry : Yes Cait...
Caitlin : Why are you blushing and smiling like this?
Barry was gonna tell what. But something stops him. The energy! The energy he was feeling in the afternoon came back suddenly! He forgets about everything. He stopped thinking what can be Caitlin's reaction or world's.
Barry : I'm thinking about you. Caitlin you are gorgeous. Whenever I see you butterflies starts to fly inside my stomach. And I think I love you. Yes! I love you. I can't stop thinking about you and I. I'm in love with you. Caitlin I love you!
Caitlin's face was shocked. She was silent.
Barry : Why aren't you saying anything Cait?
