Chapter 29 : Because You Decided To Not Love Me Anymore

The candle light was getting low and back again! Caitlin was staring at it. Just so she won't have to look at Barry. Barry, who was standing by the window was staring at the strong rain going on outside. He was having the flashback of his day. How Hunter came in, he wouldn't pick up Caitlin's phone, Wally and now he ditched a dinner. All these happened within a flash. A sound of loud drizzle was there again. Barry finally turns to Caitlin. Caitlin was still facing to the candle.
Barry : Caitlin... I'm really sorry you know today's...
Caitlin : Barry! Can we have this conversation later? I'm not really in a mood!
Barry : Why? Cait?
Caitlin turns around to Barry with cold eyes. If you look inside those eyes, the only thing you'll see is sadness.
Caitlin : Barry! I know you were out with Iris!
Barry widens his eyes.
Barry : Um it was just a dinner! With her boss! Cait I swear...who told you anyway?
Caitlin : Cisco, when I called him.
Barry : I was just helping her. I think you were cool with it...
Caitlin : I'd be! But do you see the problem? Yesterday I was also just trying to help Hunter! But you apparently weren't cool with it.
Barry gulps and looks down.
Caitlin : You can't be ok with me helping another person to solve their family issues and you expect me to be ok with you solving another person's relationship issues? Barry I think...
Barry : What do you think ? *Looks at Caitlin with fear in his eyes*
Caitlin : I think we're not ready yet!
Barry widens his eyes.
Barry : Cait what are you talking about? Please we're soulmates!
Caitlin : Soulmates needs to trust each other!
Barry remains silent. He tries to speak but gets interrupted by Caitlin again.
Caitlin : Barry don't! I can't do this! You'll have to admit getting in a relationship so quick was a dumb move! We thought we loved each other but we know it's not true. Maybe you're free to try explore something new but me! I can't bear to lose someone again! For repeatedly I've been hurt! I don't have anymore guts to try something new, to take that risk!
Barry keeps staring at Caitlin.
Caitlin : It's over for good Barry. I'd suggest you to become friends again. We work together and I don't want things to be awkward! Look I'm not your soulmate, maybe it seemed like when you kissed me for the first time but...
Barry : Caitlin don't ! We can work it out please! Have faith on me!
Caitlin : I can't!
Barry : YES YOU CAN! YOU HAVE NO IDEA HOW I FEEL WHEN I'M WITH YOU, WHEN YOU HOLD MY HANDS...

He gets inside the car and it drives away. Iris was really angry at Barry as he suddenly disappeared, she doesn't even know where he's. She steps forward to call for a cab when suddenly a waiter from the restaurant came running and called her "Excuse me ma'am! I think the sir with you forgot his cellphone." Iris : Oh thanks. I'll return it to him, he might be near.
She quickly looks for a cab when suddenly the screen unlocks as a notification popped up and Iris looks on the phone screen surprisingly.
Iris : Oh well well... Barry Allen forgot his phone?
