Chapter 34 : In Your Arms

Barry puts Caitlin inside a closet.

"Where are you going?" She asks. She's a little better now after having water.

"You stay here! I'm gonna go get Jesse." He says.

"No you're not going alone leaving me here​. And you don't know a single thing about the people here." She looks at him, "SuperFlash is Mike!"

"Mike? Jesse's Mike?" He raises his eyebrows.

"Yes. And he's gotta whole gang. They traffic women around the world for prostitution and slavery! Well you can call it a side business of them. SuperFlash as he likes to call himself..."

"He's not even a speedster"

"He is planning to conquer this world or something. His first mission is to beat you!"

"Don't worry it's never gonna happen! Now sit here and drink lots of water. I'll be back in a few hours. Keep my phone-"

"Barry! I'm not staying here."

"I'M NOT TAKING YOU THERE"

"WHY?"

"It risks your life! What if something happens to you?"

She gives her a cold stare. He keeps the phone on her palm and closes the closet.

Caitlin releases a deep breath

Barry looks around and calls out,"I know who you are Mike. Come out and release Jesse"

Suddenly he hears a pair of footsteps and look behind.

"Caitlin?" He furrows his eyebrows and says, "Jesse?"

Caitlin gives a little smirk so he runs to the sector he left Caitlin in and saw Mike and the other guys captured and the police department was here. Joe comes out from behind and says "You kids need to stop losing phones!"

"How-how did you know?" Barry asks surprised and chuckling.

"Wally sent me a message with every details when he was sure Harry and Cisco will never make it here in time. I used my police techs and came here with the force." Says Joe.

"Jesse are you okay?" Caitlin asks giving Jesse a friendly brush on her arm.

"Yeah I'm fine." Jesse smiles a little.

Everything was back to normal again. Police captured every dealers around the place. They found out Mike is their leader and he often acts a play like this to trap young girls. The police kept Jesse to themselves until Harry arrived. He was very angry when he found out Wally called the police but everybody knows it's just his in unique way to say I love you. Harry's not the only who said thank you to him in their own way, Jesse gave him a kiss on the lips directly to express her love. Harry's reaction was something Caitlin can never forget.

Caitlin was standing by the dock. The doctor examined her and she'll be returning home tonight. A fresh air was very much needed for her. She was observing everyone​ from there and smiling by her own when suddenly a voice shocked her a bit.

"Anything funny!" She turned around and saw Barry with his hands on his pockets smiling goofily as always.

"Look at them..." She says.

"So happy I know" he says.

"Barry," he tone changes and she turns to him "we never got the chance to talk"

"Yeah" he says

"Look the reason I told you we need to stop dating is..." Caitlin couldn't finish her sentence.

"Cait I thought about it. You're right!" He looks at her eyes, "we should not. We've been through a very messy stage. It's wasn't very highly romantic messy but just messy. Maybe we're not meant for each other."

Caitlin looks at him and releases a deep breath, "I'm glad you understand. How things weren't just working. I mean we never even got the chance to do that so.."

"Yeah" both of them chuckles.

"We're still friends right?" He asks.

Caitlin nods, "No. Best friends!"

Both of them smiles and hugs each other. Despite everything Caitlin finds a peace and comfort in his arms which she doesn't even find in her in home, and she sighs.
