Chapter 17 : Hard Mild Touch

Barry opens the door. Iris was sitting on the sofa.
Barry : Where's Joe?
Iris : He's upstairs,last minute packing! Why don't you sit here?
Barry sits on a sofa.
Iris : You sounded mad when I called you. Sounded like I interrupted you. Where were you?
Barry : I believe it's none of your business.
Iris : You were at Caitlin's?
Barry remains silent.
Iris : I heard you talking with her. Don't you remember the deal?
Barry : THE DEAL *angrily* was to pretend we are not together in front of everyone. But in real we are dating and you can't stop me from seeing her.
Iris : Well... *she gets up and takes on her coat*
Barry : Are you leaving? What about Joe?
Iris didn't reply and gets out of the house. After 10 minutes Joe enters the house with a box of pizza in his hand.
Joe : Hey Barry. Sudden Visit?! Barry : W-wait *shocked* how did you come from here?
Joe : What are you talking about son? And where's iris? She was the one who wanted to eat pizza.
Barry : She left. And I'm talking about your Washington tour.
Joe : Oh I'll leave day after tomorrow for Washington. Not today.

Caitlin finishes the last piece of meat. She loads the dishwasher and cleans her hand. She knows Barry had to go but it still hurts. She really needs him now actually. After what happened today in the park, all those hunter. She feels broke again inside. Only thing which can save her from this extremely painful feeling is Barry. She wanna tell him about Hunter. Everything feels so uncomfortable. She looks at the phone,no call or SMS. Caitlin sits on her bed and opens the book she was currently reading. Just then the phone started to ring.
Barry : Hey Cait.
Caitlin: Hey
Barry : *giggles* you know I..I..I..
Caitlin: You what? *Smiling*
Barry : I'm sorry *Barry hits himself after telling this, he didn't want to say this*
Caitlin: For what? Look if you're apologizing because you left then please. That's totally fine. It was your family come on.
Barry : U-mm yeah actually Joe didn't leave.
Caitlin: what? Why?
Barry : I wanna tell this face to face. I have somethings to talk about.
Caitlin: Yeah I was thinking too. Like I also got a really important thing to say.
Barry : Wait we're not breaking up right? Like just to inform I'm not gonna talk about breaking up!

Barry : Can we talk over the phone whole night? *Smiling*
