Chapter 7 : Snowbarry

Barry:Cait please answer! Cait...
Caitlin:Barry how could you? I hate you Barry.I always just thought us best friends.Nothing more.How can you even feel like this?You are a playboy.Yesterday it was Iris and today its me.Maybe tomorrow it will be someone else.Now before I throw you out, just get out of my house Barry.Barry!Are you listening?Barry!
Caitlin's tone changes suddenly.Barry opens his eyes.Caitlin was in front of him in her pyjamas with a tray of food in her hand.
Caitlin:You sleepyhead!But first you gotta eat these foods.
She keeps the tray on the side table and takes a bowl of soup.
Caitlin:I'm gonna feed you. You are too weak.And this vegetable soup is so healthy.It'll make you feel better and give you strength.
She takes a spoonful and blows a little. Then she puts it inside Barry's mouth. Barry was scared inside. The dream he just saw. Will Caitlin really react like this? He can't lose her. Then again he thinks it was just a dream not reality. But he can cherish these moments. His cheeks turns red.
Caitlin:*smiles* Do you want some toasts too?
Barry :Yeah would be nice.
Caitlin takes the toast.
Barry:*smiles* how do you manage to keep yourself and your house beautiful at the same time?
Caitlin : *blushes and smiles* Are you flirting Barry?
Barry:Ummm...I think so. But turns out the girl is smart enough.
Caitlin:And the girl is smart enough even to catch that this was a flirt line too *smiles*
Barry:*laughs* Gotcha!
She gives Barry a glass of water. He drinks all of it.
Caitlin :OK so Barry good night. See you tomorrow morning then. I'm gonna turn off the light and you will be able to sleep peacefully.
Barry:And where will you sleep?
Caitlin : Couch!
Barry : Cait! Why you? I can sleep on the couch.
Caitlin : Barry come on! Its not a big deal.
Barry : But you are afraid to stay there.
Caitlin : *shocked* how...did you...know?
Barry:Cait you told once that you always sleep in your bedroom by turning on the light.Because you are afraid of dark and to stay alone too.You even told me to stay last night too because of it.
Caitlin:Barry....
Barry:Just if you don't mind..its OK for me to share a bed with you.
Caitlin blushes. Barry kinda feels awkward too. Did he just say too much?
Barry : Only if you don't mind. Or else its your own decision.
Caitlin : I can manage. No problem.
Barry : OK. Good night then.
Caitlin turns off the light and gets out of the room. Barry kinda feels stupid. He shouldn't have mentioned that he wants to share bed with Caitlin. Like not in that sense. Obviously in that sense too but thinking of just hugging or cuddling with Caitlin brings a smile on his face. He closes his eyes and within a minute he was deep into sleep again.

Caitlin turns right. She can't sleep. Yes Barry was right. She is afraid of dark and to stay alone. What's the difference? In both you are alone. You can't see anyone around you. She would really love to share a bed with Barry. Like not in that sense. Obviously in that sense too like he's hot. But just imaging Barry hugging her from back and whispering 'Don't worry I'm here to protect you babe' in her ear and kissing on her cheeks! Ahh! She really wishes of this to happen. But she also knows it can't just happen. He loves Iris not her. Caitlin turns left and tries to sleep.

"Barry?" Barry's sleep becomes light. He tries to open his eyes. The room was dark.But he can see the shadow of a woman from the light of other room. The person was standing on the door with a pillow in one hand. He tries to see more clearly.
Barry:Caitlin?Is it you?
Caitlin comes forward. Now he could see her. Her face was pale.
Barry:What happened?
Caitlin:Barry you were right. I'm afraid to sleep alone on the couch.If you still don't mind...can I sleep here with you?
As soon as she finished the sentence she could sense her cheeks becoming hot. Barry gets up. He was too weak but he comes to Caitlin and keeps his hands on her shoulder.
Barry:Its totally OK.And I know you are afraid to stay alone.Now you won't be cuz I'll be with you.Come on.
He hugs Caitlin.Caitlin hugs him back.Awkwardly but she could smell his neck.The smell was natural and extremely good. It made him more attractive.Barry keeps his hand around her shoulders and let her lay down on the place he was laying.
Barry:You can sleep here. This place is warm.
Barry runs his finger through Caitlin's hair.
Barry:Don't be afraid. I'm here with you.
Caitlin:Barry you can lay down now. I've already disturbed you a lot.
Barry:You never disturbed me Cait.
Caitlin: OK but please lay down now.You are weak.
Barry lays down beside her. They were gazing at each other. Caitlin smiles.
Caitlin : Good night.
Barry : Good night.
Caitlin turns on other side. Barry was dying to hug Caitlin from her back. But it will be stupid to do. He gazed at her gorgeous curls. Her hair smells so nice. And its natural. He touched the edge of a curl with a finger, Caitlin didn't feel. Barry smiled by his own and turned around to sleep.

Barry opens his eyes. Agh! This is the third time he's waking up! He woke up on purpose tho. He looked back. Caitlin was hugging him like a baby girl. He turned around making sure her hands are still on him. She's asleep. The face! Filled with innocence, positivity and freshness. He thought whether he should hug her back or nor. His mind was saying no but heart was going for all yes. He's in love with Caitlin by his heart so he should probably listen to it. He hugged Caitlin. Apparently Caitlin pressed him more tight in her sleep. Barry wrapped his hands around Caitlin perfectly and placed his face on her head making her cuddling inside his chest. And he could smell that attractive smell again from her hair. This time he lightly kissed on the top of her head and whispered to her ear "You are all mine Caitlin Snow, only mine."
