Chapter 21 : Poor Little Caitlin

Caitlin gets out of the car. She looks up to her head to the the big board which says "Casa De Mia Spanish Cuisine." This is the place Hunter wants to meet her. "I hate Spanish" she mumbles under her breath as she walks inside. Hunter was sitting on a cabin before. It took a second for her to find him. She walks to the cabin and sits in front of him.
Hunter : Hello Caitlin. Nice to meet you again.
Caitlin: Hello Dr.Zolomon
Hunter: You are looking pretty in this outfit.
Caitlin: Oh really? Because this...*she bites her tongue* Uhm sorry nothing!
Caitlin scolds herself inside her head. She was actually accidentally telling him what was inside her head.
Hunter: No you were telling something.
Caitlin: No nothing
Hunter: C'mon tell me. I won't mind. In fact I wanna know more about you.
Caitlin: Um I was telling that this outfit was my last option and that's why I had to wear it. Because I would never wear it normally. And even -
Hunter: Uh but the color really suits you.
Caitlin closes her mouth.
Hunter : Wait you were telling something. What's it?
Caitlin: That the color doesn't suit me at all and that's what even everyone around me thinks.
Hunter gulps now. He becomes nervous.
Hunter : I think we should order something....ah excuse me!
A waiter comes to take their order.
Hunter: Fideuá for me...um with beer. And the lady will have...
Caitlin looks on the menu. She was never fond of Spanish. But still she tries to look for something.
Caitlin: Gazpacho maybe? And water. Thanks.
The waiter leaves.
Caitlin: So Dr.zolomon when will you give me the papers? The main thing we actually came for.
Hunter : Yeah there's plenty of time left. So tell me more about yourself!
Caitlin: Myself? I'm a boring person! I just love Science and helping people.
Hunter : Sounds pretty exciting to me.
Caitlin gives a fake smile. She takes a sip of her soup. There was a silence between them. For Caitlin it wasn't awkward,it was safe and comfortable. But Hunter wasn't really liking this.
Hunter: How's your soup? You liking it?
Caitlin: Well it's .... cold?! Hunter: Yeah Gazpacho is a traditional Spanish soup. It's suppose to be cold.
Caitlin: You seem to know a lot about Spanish Dr.Zolomon
Hunter: Well I am and please call me Hunter.
They finished their food while Hunter kept talking about himself and Spanish things. At last when Caitlin tried to pay for her dish, Hunter insisted.
Hunter: Please! It's my treat!
Caitlin: Dr.Zolomon no! It's ok I'll pay for mine...
Hunter: Caitlin I told you right? And listen call me Hunter.
Caitlin: Hunter...
He doesn't listen and pays. Hunter: Here are the papers.
Caitlin: Thanks *checks a few pages* I think I'll be done by this week!
Hunter: Take your time! I'll call you to check on the updates.
Caitlin: Nice to see you.
She gets up and walks outside,while Hunter just keeps smiling.

Caitlin was just entering STAR labs then she saw Barry leaving in a hurry. She quickly grabs his arm and stops him.
Caitlin: Where are you going in such a hurry?
Barry:*putting on his jacket*I totally forgot Joe's actually about to leave for Washington today.I've to go!See ya later!
Caitlin was also going to say see ya but Barry pulls her closer and kisses on her forehead,forgetting for a moment about their situation.Caitlin was going to scold h but she lets it go as there wasn't anyone around them.
Caitlin:Bye
She smiles and keeps watching him leaving*you can imagine a happy romantic song in background now*

Barry enters the house.Wally and Iris were already sitting on the sofa and chatting.
Wally:Hey Barry!
Barry:Hey Wally...*he gives a look to Iris*and Iris.
Iris didn't seem to care much. She keeps using her phone.
Wally:Dad's still got an hour left. That's why last minute checking.
Barry:Oh ok.
Barry looks at Wally.It was like he wants to tell him something.He even opens his mouth a few time then closes.
Barry:You wanna say something?*Barry says feeling uncomfortable*
Wally:Um no...well yes!Do you know anything about Jesse? She's not answering my phone or replying to my texts.Last time I heard from her,she was about to ask her dad about a trip.
Barry:Ohhhh...you probably don't know. A lot happened. Jesse asked Harry if she could go to the trip and he said no, really harshly.Then a few hours later Caitlin and I found herself trying to burn and commit suicide. We stopped the fire and then later on as far as I know,Harry gave permission to go to the trip today morning.
Wally:Wait what?She tried to commit suicide?And I don't even know?She could've die and I don't know?
Barry:Calm down its just a matter of time.
Wally:I'm coming to see her tomorrow.
Barry:Maybe she's leaving for the trip tomorrow!You can come over at 10'o clock.
Wally:Yeah sure!
There was a silence between all of them for a while.
Then Joe comes down.
Joe:Hey Barry!Wally look here, this key is for the main door,it's for the back door,this one's for the car
Wally:Yeah I get it!
Barry:Hope you've a nice trip Joe. Should I drive you to the airport?
Joe:No.Iris will.
