"Are you going to the office party next Friday?" Dean asks Cas.

Cas shrugs. "Eh, parties aren't really my thing."

Dean takes a sip of his coffee. "What does that mean?"

"I'm just not really a people person, that's all."

"You talk to me all the time. Hell, every day." Dean replies.

"Well your different."

Dean looks at Cas and puts down his coffee. "How so?"

Cas pauses before answering. "I like you."

Dean can't help but smile, which brings a smile to Cas's face. Damn, his smile is so fucking contagious.

Dean breaks their gaze. "So-um-is that a no then?"

"I don't know." Cas fumbles with his coat cuffs. "If your going, I'll go."

Dean's eyes brighten up. "Really?"

Cas nods. "Yeah. I don't see why not. If your going it won't be boring or-well-you make everything better."

Dean could feel himself blush. "I'll see you then. I mean, I'll see you before then, of course. I mean, I'll see you at lunch, even, but, yeah, you know. I'll see you then."

Dean stands up. "I've got to catch a bus."

"Oh yeah, me too."

Dean furrows his brows. "What bus do you take?"

"Well it's nothing special, but I take the one at 7:30 most of the time."

"Me too." Dean chuckles. "How about we sit together this time? I'm surprised we haven't noticed each other yet."

"Me neither." Cas says, standing up.

-----------------------------------------------------

Dean and Cas sat on the bus together, each putting in their earbuds and listening to their respected music.

Cas looked over at Dean, who had the aisle seat. He was rocking his head back and forth and lightly tapping his fingers on his leg. He smiled to himself. Damn, how does he manage to look so fucking cute all the time?

Cas paused his Beethoven and could faintly hear classic rock music blasting out of Dean's earbuds, and then he realized he didn't hear anybody singing classic rock in a horrible screeching voice, nor did he feel hands massaging his back.

He tapped Dean's shoulder. Dean glanced over at Cas. "Yeah?"

"Is that classic rock I hear?" Cas asked.

Dean nodded and offered him an earbud. "Wanna listen?"

"Er-" Cas wasn't sure what to say. His boss and secret crush and only friend was the annoying guy who always sang too loud on the bus behind him. "I'm not really a fan of classic rock music."

Dean's mouth slid open, and Cas was surprised it didn't touch the floor with the amount of surprise and shock on his face. "You don't like classic rock?"

Cas felt uncomfortable, like he had offended his culture. "Not really, no."

"Well what do you like?"

"Classical music. Beethoven, mainly."

Dean frowned. "Beethoven?"

Cas nodded. "He was a fucking genius."

Dean laughed. "Okay. How about this. Today we listen to classic rock, then tomorrow we listen to classical music. Beethoven, if you must."

"So we alternate?"

Dean nodded, offering Cas one of his earbuds. Cas grabbed it and put the earbud in his ear.

Dean smiled at him, their faces mere inches apart, then started the music.

A/N: It's been around a week since I posted a chapter. A big no-no, I know! But I did change this book's title AND cover! If your confused, before it was called 'Eye of the Tiger-Shut the Hell Up!' And now it's 'Keeping it Professional'.

I wasn't planning on publishing (or writing, for that matter) a chapter today, but it's Supernatural day, so I thought why not! So I hope you enjoyed it! Vote and comment if you did:)
